Hi. My daughter had a barbie mp3 for Christmas. We have read and re-read the instructions, and synchronised the music onto the mp3 from cds using windows media player. The songs show as being on the mp3, and will play through windows media player when plugged into the laptop, but the songs we have put on there will not play through the earphones. Only the Barbie songs which were already on there.
Could someone please help and stop my daughter being disappointed?
Many thanks
My girls got theirs for christmas, one plays and the other won't, could it be the mp3 plaqyer itself? My girls got theirs for christmas, one plays and the other won't, could it be the mp3 plaqyer itself?

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to
your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable.
For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to
mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then
copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to
the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will
create a MP3 music file for each music track.

Have you tried plugging it into your usb slot on your pc? It may load up without installing anything. Give it a moment. If nothing happens, go to "my computer" and see if it is showing up as a drive. If it is, doubleclick on it to open it and then copy across your music to it. It should work that way.
You have a round button on your Barbie Girls Mp3 player. Right? Well, you have a round button in the middle of the circle that is Pause. On the right and left hand side is the back and forwards buttons. The up and down buttons on it is the volume control. Up is louder. Down is softer. Hope that helped you, deary.

Try restarting your PC once the software has been installed.
I bought one of these for my daughter for Christmas. I didn't bother installing the software that came with the player. Windows Media Player automatically recognised the device allowing me to transfer music to it.
the music shows on the computer but it isn't playing when it isn't pluged in. i.e when you want to us it as an mp3... why is it not working?
