For the beep you go into the tools menu (bottom right icon) from there go to calls and in that sub menu go to "minute minder" and turn off as for the screen lock I think you can change the time but your stuck with it. i hope that helps some.

The beeping also might be someone else calling, it beeps when there is a call waiting, or if you got a text while you are talking, and it will continue beeping until you answer the call or answer the text...

How to turn off child lock of LG refrigerator vth model number GL- 528?we already tried by holding it for 3 sec....it doesn't works at all....nd have a beep sound too

Pressing this button stops operation of other buttons.
"Locking" or "Un-Locking" is repeated whenever pressing the CHILD LOCK button. (For "Locking" or "Un-.Locking" press the "CHILD LOCK" button for 3 secs.)
When 'CHILD LOCK' is activated, pressing the other buttons would not work.

I need to reset my combination to my mesa safe

This safe was shipped with a factory Master Code of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8.

If you changed the Master Code you will need to use the code you changed it to.

Deleting your current User Codes:
Input * - * lock will beep twice
input 6-6-6-# lock will beep twice
Input current Master Code - # lock will beep twice
Input user number - # lock will beep twice (not user code, user number is which user number you want to delete 1,2,3,4 or 5)
Re-input user number - # light stays green for 3 seconds

Example: * - * - 6 - 6 - 6 - # Master Code - # - 5 - # - 5 #
This will delete user 5
Unsuccessful code change: five beeps, repeat the steps.

Changing User Codes: Code length can be 3 to 8 digits long
Input * - * lock will beep twice
Input 4 - 4 - 4 - # lock will beep twice
Input Current User Code - # lock will beep twice
Input User Number - #
Input New User Code - # lock will beep twice
Re-input New User Code - # light stays green for 3 seconds

Example: * - * - 3 - 3 - 3 -# - User Code 2 - # - 2 - # -New User Code - # - New User Code - #

That example will change user code 2.
Unsuccessful Code Change: five beeps, repeat the steps.

There are other things you can do with the MSL-500 lock that comes on the MFL-2014E. You can change the master code, activate user codes, change user codes, delete user codes, set single user or dual user modes (dual user modes requires two user codes to be entered each time you want to open the safe, set the time delay.

The Mesa safe company has a website which does have the operating instructions for the MSL-500 electronic lock. A Google search of "Mesa MSL-500 Operating Instructions" would get you there quickly.

I changed the batteries in the lock and it now emitts a hi pitched beep every 5 minutes. I changed the batteries because I thought that was the problem. What can I do

Powerbolt is Beeping?

This is the relevant excerpt from the Powerbolt programming and troubleshooting instructions:

To determine why your lock is beeping abnormally, please follow these steps:

Take out batteries and unplug powerstrip.
Let it sit for 1 minute, then put the batteries back in and wait another minute.
If it does not beep, the keypad needs to be replaced (17733-1).
If the unit continues to beep, the powerboard needs to be replaced (A17734-3,3 Powerboard 1470 brass finish; A17734-3,26D Powerboard 1470 satin chrome finish; A17734-3,5 Powerboard 1470 antique brass finish).

I suggest calling the appropriate toll-free number and having a conversation with a representative about this problem, first of all to confirm that you need the part before you go through the expense. Secondly, your lock may be new enough for you to talk them into warrantying it, and thirdly, they will be able to get the correct part on order for you.

Good luck--and please provide feedback if this helps!

Since you've already gone through the battery change, this suggests that you need to replace the appropriate Powerboard for your lock.

We put new batteries in the lock, and the lock starts beeping for about 30 seconds, then it stops for a minute or two, then starts beeping again. And this continues until you totally pull a battery out.

Take out batteries and unplug powerstrip.
Let it sit for 1 minute, then put the batteries back in and wait another minute.

Powerbolt beeping issues

I removed the batteries and it beeps.
I called customer support. They must have a lot of issues with the keypads, cause they're sending me a new one in 3-5 days.

I thought I would have to mail the whole thing in.
The woman was very friendly.
Great customer support!

LG Vu autolocks after 1 sec/disable e-mail notice-keep text notic

On the menu screen that shows "call," "sound," etc., hit the white "more" button with a blue cross, > "security," > "auto screen lock," and you options for after 15, 30, 45 seconds, and after 1 minute.

For e-mail alerts, get into your e-mail account from your phone. When your account has popped up (so you can see a list of e-mails and know you're in), hit options on the bottom right. It should give you an "email alerts" option; hit that, and you can enable/disable from there.
