Unplug the set, remove all other audio/video components, go open front door, and roll it out to the curb.

My mitsubishi big screen projection tv, 1080, all of a sudden turned off. When I turn it on, it automatically shuts back off. I did the reset test and it blinks 2 times, blinks 2 times and a pause. How...

you have a bad or leaky capacitor in the power supply section...if you can dismantle the back casing look for the power supply and check if there's a bulgy capacitor mostly electrolytic type....replace w/ same value..it's best if you brought it in a tv service center

High Definition--WS-55807

IF the MITS has 3 component inputs blue red yellow RCA jacks on the back then yes at 480 or 720p, you'll need to attach 2 audio cables for sound. If it has a HDMI input then absolutely.

Won't come on

The power board has failed and will need to be repaired or replaced. you can remove this board and, replace individual parts and save a lot of money. You will be inspecting for swollen capacitors and resistors. also, look for discolorations on the board itself.

Mitsubish WS-55807 HDTV 55" 1080

RGB picture guns ( CRT's ) are ok. Your set needs a common
convergence circuit overhaul requiring replacement of two IC's,
part # STK392-570. Usual cost about 400.00.........T.

Turn on tv and after a minute it turns itself off

Check fuses F9A04 and F9A05 (5A micro fuse)on the board in the middle. If one or both are open than you need to change both the convergence IC's (STK392-570)along with the fuses.
