Need the order batteries are inserted into the Vivicam 3620

Do you mean the Vivitar ViviCam X014N? If so, the battery compartment is on the right hand side as you look back of the camera with the view screen and menu buttons. The cover on the battery compartment will rotate up from the bottom of the camera when opened. This is shown in the manual although it isn't completely clear. Note: the N suffix refers to the case color. The manual applies to any ViviCam X014.

I think it is the problem not oriented with battery. Just make sure that your cam battery placing area have any rust. If so just try to clean the rust and re-insert the battery and check it off.

To install the batteries:1. With the back of the radio facing you, remove the belt clip (seediagram below) for easy access, then remove the Battery Coverby pressing down on the top center and sliding it down from theradio.2. Insert 4 AA batteries observing the polarity as shown. Installingthe batteries incorrectly will prevent the unit from operating ormay damage the unit.3. Return the Battery Cover by sliding it up on the radio. Replace thebelt clip, making sure it locks into place.

Confirming that the [Memory Card / Battery Cover] is securely closed

If the [Memory Card / Battery Cover] is not securely closed, the power of the camera may not turn on.

Close the [Memory Card / Battery Cover] securely, and then turn the power on.

Clean the battery terminals with a dry cotton swab that has a fine and soft tip, and then re-insert the batteries.

If your camera uses four AA-size alkaline batteries supplied with the camera, follow the procedure below. In addition to Alkaline batteries you may use optional nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries.

1. Be sure that the camera power is off.

2. Slide the battery cover lock in the direction of the arrow, and push the battery cover slightly forward. Then open the cover.
3. Insert the batteries as shown.
4. Close the battery cover.

Your vivicam takes AA batteries, which are widely available. Use good quality ones, such as Duracell M3 or Energizer lithiums, as some cheap brands don't last very long.

If your AA batteries are rechargeable, they will say so on the side. Then you'll need an appropriate charger (Photo stores can supply, if required - just show them what you are trying to charge).

gripfitter is incorrect, that charger is made to charge in 15 minutes. It has a cooling fan and when batteries are inserted a red light comes on and the fan starts. When light goes out and fan stops, the batteries are charged. (light should not blink as that indicates one or more of the batteries has a problem)

Check your user manual to see exactly what type of batteries you can use. Not all AA batteries will work in all digital cameras. Some require a specific brand of batteries or specific number, even though, they may be physically the same size. Hope this helps :)
