I have a "craig" tv and the word factory is on the upper left corner, when this word appears i can no longer use any buttons on my tv, how do i fix this?

The set is in service mode state. You have to exit this mode; to vanish the display "Factory". You should have its remote control to do this. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
NB: Please read and understand well, the instructions to enter the service mode, before you begin. Be very careful. Note how to "EXIT" the service mode; after entering and adjusting data. This is very important.
One year and 3 days after purchase, my Viewsonic TV went gray after turning it on. After doing the obvious (unplugging the power, playing with the buttons, checking the manual), I called the customer support center. A very nice lady gave me the secret to the factory reset.
Hold down the "on" button, the "menu "button, and the "ch +" button at the same time for about 8-10 seconds. Upon release, a menu screen will appear in the upper left corner. Use the menu button on the remote to change the settings. It may take a bit of experimenting. For example, change "off" to "on", or "disable" to "enable". You'll know what I mean when you see it.

i had the same problem in a sharp tv 32". on the remote control there was a view mode button, i changed the mode and the pc input label in the left upper corner gone
I believe the "Caption Vision" is selected. By pressing the "Display" button on the remote it should toggle through the choices until "Display Off" appears. That should be all.
Click on the display button (upper left corner) as a short term fix - it will turn it off immediately - not sure of how to permanently solve this though.
Try pressing the RETURN button (above the DISP button - number 6 on the button list in the manual). The button has two arrows chasing each other. It worked for me on our Audiosonic KMC TH68 TV.
Try hitting the RETURN button - that is the one with two arrows chasing each other just above the DISP button. This turned off the FACTORY text on my Audiosonic KMC TH68.
