I have a renter who states that they can not turn on the oven in this new stove. the top burners light up but not the oven. please help. where can i find the users manual online? thanks in advance, ~jv
I just dealt with the same problem. On this model, the (already very compact) oven temperature control includes a pilot safety valve. With the control turned to OFF, push in on the knob while applying a lighted match to the pilot. After the pilot lights, keep holding the knob in for a few seconds. When you release it, the pilot flame should stay on.
Me, I'm interested in why the pilot went out in the first place and what to do if it keeps going out. IS there that repair manual (online or in print) that jvmagic was asking about?

I also found a catalog description of that oven thermostat/pilot safety valve (PDF, 12 pages, Spanish with partial English translation). It's the "MTPP-22300" on the last page. It must not be in very common use yet; there seems to be just that one online reference to it.

Is the pilot lit or does it have electronic ignition (you will hear a tap tap tap noise when you turn it on).if you do light the pilot and it doesnt stay lit the thermocouple is most likley bad (a very cheap part).remove the racks and the side rails then the bottom cover can be pulled out.if the unit is electronic reply to me and well go from there.
