SOURCE: LG Renoir Battery issues

My renoir has just developed this issue.

I have tried 2 batteries, tried re-flashing the firmware (even tried a custom firmware) and nothing.

I am buying another battery to see if i were unlucky with the battery I bought.

This does not appear to be an uncommon issue as I have found several threads online regarding this. No definitive answer as yet.

How long should i charge a new optimus black

The optimus black phone should take 2-3 hours to fully charge. When you get a new phone, however, it is generally a good idea to let the battery completely die before you start charging it.

Over time, batteries hold less and less charge. Supposedly, by allowing the battery to completely die before charging it the first time, you improve the longevity of the battery.

I have Xperia X 10 mini from Sony Ericsson. I left it charging overnight as I do every night since I've got it. And today when I woke up, I took the phone and instead of it being fully charged and

Chances are your phone got too hot during the night and overcharged the Lithium Ion battery. If those batteries are exposed to too much heat then they won't have the battery life they used to have. You need to purchase a replacement battery or contact your wireless carrier to see about getting another one.

Hi ive got a samsung galaxy s2 and the battery life is really bad. I will charge the phone fully over night and ut wont even last half a day. Is this a commen problem or do u have a dodgy battery

How old is the phone/battery?

Has the battery been fully discharged (used until it will not power up the item) very many times?
This is very bad for Li/Po batteries. If the phone is less than 6-12 months old, I would contact my cell provider and ask for a replacement battery. In lieu of your provider replacing it, your only option will likely be to replace it yourself. Unlike the old-school Ni/Cad rechargeable batteries, Li/Po batteries lose their ability to hold a charge if they are drained fully too many times. Also a good tip with a new battery is to charge it longer than just until the battery power indicator is full (overnight is a good basic rule, but check your phone's user guide or google the specific battery model for recommended charge times) for the first few charges, and avoid letting it fully discharge. Try to get it on a charger with at least 1 or 2 bars left. This will increase the life of a cell phone battery dramatically.

hope this helps,

I charge my battery fully, then use it for 10-15min then close it overnight and the next morning it is dead again????

Are you sure the battery is good it maybe its not holding its charge. . Try removing the battery from the laptop after using it 10 to 15 min see what happens next morning when you put it back in.. Make a note of percentage charge before removeing it on the battery power meter.and again next morning. Hope this has helped you.

I have a new syma S032 that has only been flown about 10 times. All of a sudden, it won't go higher than 1' off of the ground. The heli has not crashed so I thought it was a battery issue so I purchased...

You're likely doing one of two (or three) things:

Undercharging. Make sure to charge until light on charging unit is fully bright. If the light on the charger gets ANY brighter when you unplug the helicopter, then it's not fully charged. Note that if you are using a usb charger, that most laptop usb ports and front side desktop data ports are not fully powered to the required 5volts DC, and so can take several hours to fully charge the battery.

Over-discharging. Once you cannot maintain altitude, land helicopter and power it off. Draining a Li/Po battery fully, or even close to it, will weaken it's ability to hold a charge, and can ruin it entirely. Not like the old Ni/Cad rechargeable batteries.
Improper care. Batteries should be allowed to cool for 10 minutes after every flight, and 10 minutes after every charge. Like over-discharging, overheating will always weaken, and can destroy your Li/Po battery.

hope this helps let me know

Hello, After fully charging my mother's Jazzy power chair overnight, the rear battery indicator/pointer shows zero meaning it's fully charged. I leave it unplugged all day and then by 5pm when I check...

Sorry but it sounds like weak batteries. I would replace both batteries and after installation fully charge before use. Then ask Mom to use the chair more each day so you can charge them overnight each day for the next 20 days. It will break in the batteries and get them operating at 100%. If you can get her to use it more and charge it overnite and always put it up at full charge the batteries should last 2-3 years Hope this helps

Battery went dead

Most likely you have a bad battery you can check by taking out the battery and feeling on it if it is flat than its good if it has a bump on it than it is no good.
