Dear Sir, i have HTC Desire. I have some problem with touch. when i go in messages i cant touch the new message, and the first message area. Rest of the screen touch is working fine. In short the touch screen is not working from 1cm to 2.5cm area from top and most of the times while typing the notification bar drops down itself. What should i do?

I had this problem before.

Try to ROM update youre phone. u can get the Update at www.htc.com There u download youre phone Rom Update for free. Its also easy to update.

Have u also tryed to HardReset youre Phone ?
Under youre Phone there u see USB Input. On the rigth side put inn youre LCD pen i tha smal hol and hold it there for 10 sec.

Now youre phone are reset to Factory.

I had this problem ,also no notifications of voicemail as well as not being able to acces the messaging screen. I was just about to send the handset in for repair and decided to remove the 4gb micro sd card .turned the phone off ,removed the card,turned it on again ,bam messaging works again !! hope this can help someone else too :-)

1. Go to the settings.

2. From the options of Personal, System, & Connections, chose connections.

3. Tap on USB to PC icon.

4. Here lies the demon. There is a small box with lengthy explanation line (probably automatically ticked) which says "Enable faster data synchronization" you just need to uncheck it and tap on ok.

Now the activesync will start working.

this is the problem usually caused by virus and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not tofunction,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest HTC serice centre,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed....
