When you plug the Storejet into your USB port on your PC, after the PC's finishing installing the driver, you should see a new drive letter in your "My Computer" area. Once this is confirmed, go to your Start menu at the bottom left of your desktop, go to Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, then Backup. The backup wizard will walk you through backing up your PC, and will ask you where to back up before it begins, Browse to the Storejet's drive letter, then backup. I hope this helps.

Boot.ini is a hidden system file. To edit it you will need to 'see' it. Open Windows Explorer and go to the local disk C:. Click on Tools and then on Folder Options. Click on View in the next window and scroll down until you find 'View hidden system files' and mark that. Close the windows until you are back the the view of C:. You should be able to see boot.ini. If not, press F5 to refresh the screen. Right click on boot.ini and choose Open. Make the modification you want and the save and close the file. When you have finished, repeat the step above and clear the mark to view the hidden files. That will help prevent system files from accidentally being deleted.
Good luck and please let me know how it works out for you. ~ Spoem
