My protector gun safe won't lock

They all have model numbers, but these should help as the procedure is basically the same

Looking for information on resetting a Docugem safe - believe it is a PS200. We have changed the battery and now the programmed code is no longer working.

Try the default code it used when it was new, then after you get it opened, reset it to what you want.

You haven't found any piece of useful paper of your digital safe's package; try reporting your problem to the manufacturer. You can contact manufacturers at their website or local offices. Send in a request for a tool key or a set of instructions on how to change your currently forgotten combination lock. While they do not keep records of safe combinations, they are the best group to consult on how to crack their own security codes.

I would recommend calling a locksmith as it may be a cheaper solution than what the manufacturer has to offer.

there is red button on the inside of the door (hinge side) press this , then key in a new code

are you the manager user of the safe?if yes,you can reset a new code by yourself.

If it is "The Protector" from Costco, open the door and put your hand back by the top of the rear of the door in the seam. There you should feel a little button, push and hold til it beeps then enter your 4 digit code, hit "A" and release. Lock the wheel with door open and make sure your new code works.
