Slow fill I taken hoses off cleaned screens.Put hoses in bucket ,lot of pressure.Seems to flow good on warm.

H20 is "no fill" or difficult fill. To test:Put the temp select switch on HOT, start machine. If water comes out check the flow amount. If no water flow, replace inlet water valve. If there is water flow switch to COLD, restart machine, if necessary. If water comes out check the flow amount should be approximately equal or slightly more than flow on HOT. If no water flow, replace inlet water valve. Move selector to WARM, restart machine if necessary. Now there should be twice the flow of water than with just HOT and COLD temps. If all seems good turn off the water supply taps. Loosen the connections at the machine. Wait for the hoses to relax before unscrewing them too far. If they do not relax STOP retighten and let me know. After removing the hoses check the screens condition in the end of valve. Those screens can become fouled with lime and other debris. Use a toothbrush and a spray bottle to remove crud. Hold the end of the hoses over a bucket or in the tub of washer and turn on TAPs to check the pressure, it doesn't have to blast out of there (but it likely will if you turn TAPs too far, so be careful) still it has to be more than a weak flow. If the screens are clean and if there is good flow the water valve should function, if it doesn't it is defective and will need replaced. BUT, before you do that you should try one more thing. Make sure you UNPLUG THE MACHINE FOR THIS! Open the console and disconnect and reconnect every wire connector you see. If a connection doesn't pop right off just give it a good wiggle. The goal here is to verify that connections are good, so reseat what you can and wiggle the rest and give wires that go through plastic connectors a slight push from behind the connector. Then plug the machine back in and give it a try. It's worked for me more than once. Let me know what you find out.

When you took hose off washer to clean screen, did you put hose end in a bucket and turn on water? If not then do that first. (check the screen again)
This will tell you if the water pressure at the hose is good, and will also flush out any bits of crud that may have accumulated in that section of your plumbing. Obviously if the water pressure is too low, that's what you will need to address. If it blows out with some force, then it sounds like you will need to replace the water shut off valve in the washer, where the hose connects.

Hi Welcome to FixYa I am Kelly. You have debris inside your water inlet valve. You can try to clean it by doing the following:

- First remove both hoses from the water inlet valve and remove the inlet screens of the water valve.
(Use a knife blade on the outer part of the screens to remove them from the water valve)
- Connect both hoses to the water inlet valve without the inlet screens.
- Connect ONE hose to the wall faucet
- Place ONE hose in a bucket

SELECT WARM WASH and start wash fill

Water should flow into the washer and the bucket. Use the handle of a screwdriver and tap the hose connections of the inlet water valve for about 20 seconds. (your trying to free the debris from the inlet water valve diaphram)

Stop Fill

Reverse Hose connection at the wall.... i.e. hook up other hose and disconnect the one you had connected. Place the hose you disconnected from the wall into the bucket.

START warm fill

Water should flow into the washer and the bucket. Use the handle of a screwdriver and tap the hose connections of the inlet water valve for about 20 seconds. (your STILL trying to free the debris from the inlet water valve diaphrams)

STOP FILL

- Connect hose to wall connection
- WASH the inlet screens under slowly running water until both sides are clean
- Remove hoses from the water inlet valve and install the inlet screens.
- Reconnect hoses and turn on water supply

TEST HOT and COLD fill

Turn off machine.... IF the debris was freed the water flow will stop when the machine is turned off.

If this flushing attempt does not correct your constant water flow the remedy is to replace the water inlet valve on your washer.

I can help with locating parts ON-Line but will need your model number to help you should you require a water valve.

Hopefully you are able to clear the debris by doing the above. (50 - 50 chance of it working)

Turn off the water at the wall connection remove the hoses noting the positons of HOT and COLD. Then clean the inlet screens in the water valve. (lift out by using a knife blade on the outside of the screen) Wash the screens by rubbing your fingers ofer them under slow running water then reinstall them.

Before you start try a hot wash.. and then cold wash to see if either has water coming into the machine. If it works there is a way to back flush the water valve using a warm water wash. You remove one hose and stick it in a bucket. Turn ON the other hose and let water flow into the bucket while gentily tapping on the hose connection with a screw driver HANDLE. Reverse hose connections and repeat hose in bucket and tapping on hose connection. Reconnect both hoses then try HOT and COLD wash fill cycles. Let me know what happened.

You either have a water pressure/flow problem or the inlet screen in your inlet valve is clogged. Remove the cold water hose and use a bucket to check if you have good pressure and flow. If that is good, look and clean the inlet valve screen for debris. Hope this helps.

Hi Fred. Turn off the water and clean the water valve inlet screens inside the water valve.
-Remove the hose connection to the washer.
-Use a knife blade at the outer edge of the screen and pull it out.
-Wash the screens under slow running water rubbing it with your fingers.
-Reinstall screens
CHECK hose water flow into a bucket by turning on each hose. Slow flow= plumbing problem
Good flow = Connect hoses to washer

Before you turn on the water check the wall connection end of the hoses. Sometimes there are hose screens there also. If there are screens in the wall connection end of the hose remove the screens and wash them.

Hi and welcome to Fixya. It sounds like you have debris in the water valve inlet screens. Possibly inside the water valve itself. Here is a procedure you can do to try and reverse flow / clean the water valve.

Get a 3 gallon bucket...Turn off both wall connected hoses.

Remove ONE hose from the wall shut off valve and place it in the 3 gallon bucket.

Turn on the hose that is still connected to the wall shut off valve.

Select WARM on the temp selector.

Let the water back flow until the bucket is about 1/3 full. While the water is flowing use the handle of a screwdriver the GENTLY tap in the hose connection at the washer water valve several times to free or loosen debris.

Reverse the hose positions on the wall shut off valve and repeat above until the bucket is 2/3 rds full.

Then turn off the water at the wall and disconnect the hoses from the water valve ONE at a time. One the hose is removed take out (remove) the metal inlet screen from the water valve. You have to use a blade or a scribe on the very outside of the screen to remove it. Take the screen to a sink and using a slow flow of water clean the screen with your fingers / fingernails until you can see through it when you hold it up to a light. Once clean press the screen back into the water valve and then repeat the remove and clean procedure for the other screen.

Reconnect all hoses

Turn on the water and test for leaks.

Check water flow during the fill. You see a remarkable difference.

If there is no change then there is still debris in the diaphram of the water valve. Most often you can not open the water valve and it must be replaced.

Have you cleaned the wire mesh screen in the hose. Does the hot and cold water do the same. Disconnect the hoses and turn the water on letting them run into a bucket. Do they run good. It's stopped up somewhere as indicated by the initial high pressure and then loss of pressure.

I've been retired from the appliance business for many years but a friend had this problem and asked for my help . First I checked the screens where the hoses connect to machine those were ok . Next i checked the solenoids checked good . Scratched my head and decided only one thing left to check the hoses going to machine . I got a bucket disconnected hoses from machine . I aimed first one at the bucket and turned water on and wow just a trickle . I didn't have another hose but just for the heck of it I reversed the hose hooked the machine end to the faucet aimed at bucket wow got full stream of water . I hooked the faucet end to machine ran the machine worked perfect . That was three years ago and I see my friend now and then he says still working great .... Weird LOL
