Either the motor cannot turn over fast enough to power the pulley system, or there is an issue with the pulley system.

SOURCE: My washer won't complete the final spin cycle. It

Hello, problem here is the spin control board is bad. Remove panel under the door and you can locate the spin control at the rear right of the machine screwed to the floor. Replace it and you will be all set. Mike

SOURCE: not draining all the way. slow spin

I had the same problem.  There was a sock stuck in my drain hose!  To correct it, I did the following:

  1. I removed as much of the standing water from inside the drum as possible (a siphon is handy here, otherwise you're just slinging buckets).
  2. Then, I removed the front panel.  On my unit, there were two screws holding it on towards the bottom.  I removed the screws and the panel slid straight down and I could pull it away from the unit.
  3. Then, I located the drain hose leading from the drum.  I put some towels around it to catch some of the leftover drum water.  It was a lot of water and a catch bucket would have been a good idea, too.
  4. I removed the drain hose from the drum by squeezing the clamp ends and sliding it down the hose a bit.  Then I could easily slide the hose from the drum.  Splash!  Water came rushing out.  So, at his point I knew the clog happened after the drum.
  5. I then removed the other end of the hose from the electric unit (I don't even know what it is).  Voila!  A sock!  I pulled the sock out and replaced the hose.
  6. I ran a rinse cycle to find there was still something else besides the sock stuck, so I suggest you check the area thoroughly while you have it apart.

Hope that helps you!  I feel good I spared myself a visit from the plumber.

SOURCE: Fridgidaire Gallery Series Front Load washer won't drain or spin

It sounds like there may be 2 things wrong. If the drier is not draining then the pump is clogged. Remove the drain hoses and check the pump(IMPORTANT!!!!Before you remove the hoses get a pan to put under the hoses. Alot of water will go on the if you do not do this...)The pump most likely has a coin in it.
The klunk you heard... If the drum spins and seems to be out of balance. If could be your rear bearing or your spider bracket.

It's possible that the tub didn't drain properly in the allotted time and the remaining water is slowing your drum from coming to maximum extraction speed.

My wf310 1100 spin will not do a high speed spin

hi, there may be not enough water draining out on the last cycle before it spins so i'd give the pump a good luck over also check the filter if it has 1, and check the drain hose. the other fault could be the module control board this controls the motor speed hope it helps

Kenmore washer top load all cycles normal but when in the rinse/spin cycle notice it does not seem to spin fast enough to remove water from clothes and the are wetter then normal

There could be a number of reasons My best guess is that it will reduce the spin speed if it thinks it can't drain properly. Check that all the pipes/ filters etc are clear and that it can drain all the water out. Also it wont spin fast if the load is unbalanced. Does the spin speed change according to loading or is it low all the time? It may have a motor control problem, but that seems unlikely if it's working normally other than the spin.

Kenmore Front Loading Washer - the spider arm broke and we had to change the entire tub assy which was done and the machine now works perfectly as for the washing and tumbling. The tub spins, tumbles back...

It is the brain of the washer that decides when the spin takes place and how fast - the brain knows how fast the motor is spinning because there is a speed sensor, probably on the rear end of the motor shaft.

There might be bad connections to the speed sensor or it might be broken but if that and the wiring is ok the fault is probably with the controller/brain, though it is possible the brain refuses to do a high speed spin because for some reason it might (mistakenly?) think there is still too much water in the tub.

Kenmore 90 Series washer needs two spins to remove water

We have exact same washer. It is 11 years old. We are at a point where we have to spin it 7 times and then still isn't too dry. It dies yesterday a very loud death. Mentioning this here because it could be a foreshadowing of your Kenmore 90's future.

Washer won't spin fast, only slow

tyr removing the lower acees panel from the uint , ther is a "button trap" located there to catch debris from entering pump assy, chances are its clogged and if it cant drain all the water it wont go into high speed spin, also you MUST use an HE detergent. HE detergent specifically designed for front loading washers

Clothes wet, doesnt spin fast

Check the drain spigot, where the drain hose attaches to the drain trap under the sink/tub.There may be a blockage in the spigot which is causing the water to drain very slowly and therefor not allowing the machine to spin at normal fast speed.

Kenmore 44042 - No spin cycle

The front load washers are supported by springs on the top and shocks on the bottom.  More than likely you broke a spring on the top or cracked one of the shock mounts which causes and unbalanced load all the time.  Will it go through a spin cycle with no clothes is it?
