The BBS Popup is to boot from a selected device, if you have Windows on your Hard Drive just boot from your HDD.

no keyboard detected. fatal error... system halted = your keyboard is dead, replace it. If you get the same message after a new keyboard then the PS2 connector is dead, you will have to use an USB keyboard.

SOURCE: ai got an old computer and it it work but it show me an error with American Megatrends

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty ?

even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause this problem

a computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

make sure the CPU central processing unit has thermal paste and dust free and is securely seated

make sure your computer ram modules are securely seated with no dust in sockets also Cmos battery has charge with no dust in the socket some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in
hope this helps you

I have p4 computer. when i start computer booting . computer ask press f11 for bbs poppup . when i press key f11, this is not forword another page , computer prossing stop, what can i do.

It sounds like you are having an issue with the boot process on your computer. The F11 key is typically used to access the Boot Device Menu, which allows you to select a boot device other than the default boot device. If pressing the F11 key is not causing the Boot Device Menu to appear, there may be a problem with the boot process or with the F11 key itself.
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Make sure that the F11 key is functioning properly. You can test this by pressing the F11 key in a text editor or word processor to see if it works as expected.
  2. Check the BIOS settings to see if the F11 key is enabled for boot device selection. The BIOS settings can usually be accessed by pressing a key such as F2 or Del immediately after turning on the computer.
  3. Make sure that the boot device you want to select is properly connected to the computer and is recognized by the BIOS.
  4. Check the boot order in the BIOS settings to make sure that the boot device you want to select is listed first.
  5. If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, it may be a good idea to try booting from a bootable USB. This will help you determine if the problem is with the computer's hard drive or with the boot process itself.

How do I restore my gateway dx4380g when I can't boot into Windows

Go into the bios and make sere D2D recovery is enabled.Save changes, reboot and press f11 or Fn + f11 To boot recovery.
If that didnt work......
Use another computer to download and install the demo of Active@Bootdisk. Load it onto a usb drive. Set your bios to boot off of usb drives first. Once it boots, use the partion manager to make the restore partition active. Reboot and the restore should start itself.
Good luck.

Rebuilding my computer, won't load past ''press f11 for bbs popup''

Has the motherboard got a new BIOS battery?
Check the voltage of the battery, if it is a lithium battery CR2032 then the voltage should be 3 volts, if it is less than 2.98 volts then replace the battery.

Hello! My PC crashed once, and i can't reboot it. It aborts while " initializing usb.. " directly after starting. (Win7)

if there are any external HDD attached unplug them before you boot.. try that first...if that doesn't work,..reboot..then press F12 or F2 ( you might have to tap-tap to get into settings ) to go into bios settings. disable boot from usb and make sure that the boot setup starts with the cd-rom first then the HDD 2nd and nothing 3rd.and if that fails... hopefully you made a back up/repair disc. use that...9/10 times it will fix what the problem is.
