I have a Simpson Evolution 906 Fan Forced Oven and the light bulb has burned out. The light bulb is inside the oven at the back wall and it doesn't come loose to exchange it.
I can tell you it screws out . i had to break mine to get it out ( the bulb cover that is) Still had some thread left to wind back up.
Try useing a rubber glove it gives you extra grip! I used it with mine. It was burt out for over a year and once in a while I would try to get it off. Finaly got it. And yes it does screw off.
I think the biggest majority of your problem is the baked on grease and grim. Use some oven cleaner around the globe cover, and try some hot soapy water after that. If nothing else, it should help you loosen the cover enough to unscrew and get the globe out.
I thought my admiral wall oven had some kind of clip on light cover, so I was taking it easy on it while trying to figure it out. Then I tried just using some brute force and unscrewing it and I won. It finally gave and screwed right off.
