PTO will not engage riding mower blades on MTD 13AH762F752.

ed, be sure there is nothing wrapped around the blades. lower the deck and be sure the belt is around all of the pullys. If the belt comes off one of the pulleys or the pulley on the engine it may feel normal but it wont engage the blades.

MTD GOLD LAWN TRACTOR WHEN ENGAGE PTO AND LOWER DECK . SLOWS DOWN TURNING BELT SLIPING

Belt is worn out and needs replacing or maybe the jockey tensioner is not operating on the belt hard enough to prevent slippage. If its all in good condition get a good DIYer or mechanic to have a look. If not its down to your local garden machinery shop.

Can I get a picture of a 46" deck layout for a black mtd yard machine so I can c how the deck engagement cable go

Only seen one or two H decks here.
if it is this cable

then it connects to the RH brake assembly and the PTO engagement plate. There is also a spring that connects at the same point on the engagement plate to the right hand frame.

My pto engages on the highest level for my deck on my mtd lawn tractor. Highest my deck will go is 5. But when I put it to 4 ir even 3 the pto cuts out. But as soon as you return it to 5 it starts

Owner's manual? no manual, try for both owner and Repair manual on manualslib.com
Wild guess, the angle of the PTO drive shaft related to the height of the deck is causing a problem. Perhaps it's binding and won't turn, or pops out because of the binding and load. Perhaps the drive shaft is not "locked" on for some reason, with pins or
another device. Perhaps the sliding portion needs lubrication.

I have a 42" mtd lawn tractor. The blades do not

The blades engage via a belt, that goes around a series of pullies, one of those pullies is a tension pulley that is connected to your pto lever by springs, the engine has nothing to do with your blades until after you engage the lever, I would check your belt. It could be loose, and if you engage the blades it could take it a few to get up to speed, thus making it seem like its only when the engine is warm.
Does everything else work fine? As in the tractor moves when the blades are not engaged?

I need a belt diagram for a ranch king king plus also i need to know the size for the main drive belt

Ranch King is a brand name of the manufacturer MTD.

Product manuals with part blow-up diagrams are available from MTD's web site,
http://www.mtdproducts.com/
Models are identified from the model number printed on a label under the mower seat.
The PTO and deck drive belts are shown on one diagram and the transmission drive belt is shown on another. The Form number on my printed Operator's Manual is 770-10526A (22HP, 46in cut) for Hydrostatic 817/818 models.

Parts can be ordered directly from MTD or other distributors on the web.

It is my experience that original brand name MTD belts work best.

The 22HP, 46" mower deck Ranch King Pro has 3 belts:

The drive belt which runs from the engine pulley back to the hydro drive unit to provide over-the-ground propulsion is part #754-0349.

A mower has either an electric PTO or a manual PTO, not both.

The electric PTO belt the provides power to the blade deck (runs around the electric clutch on the engine shaft (activated by electric switch, not the mechanical hand lever that engages the mower deck) is p/n 754-0476 for the 46" deck.

The manual PTO belt the provides power to the blade deck (runs off the pulley on the engine shaft (activated the mechanical hand lever to the left of the steering wheel that engages the mower deck) is p/n 754-0228 for the 46" deck.

The deck belt that goes around the 3 blade spindle assemblies on the mower deck, to drive the grass cutting blades is p/n 754-0349

In my experience, the PTO belt lasts about half a season, the other belts break about every other season when mowing 4 acres weekly.

Deck belt does not engage blades on riding tractor

Be sure the belt is the correct size and is routed correctly.

If you are not sure, you can download a manual here:
http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/public/list.jsp

You will need the model & serial numbers.
