SOURCE: My (sharp aquos lc 52d62u) tv fell to the ground. Image of broken glass and colored lines appear

Hi,
Unfortunately the panel is cracked internally can't can't be repaired the whole panel has to be replaced. most times the panel will cost as much as you paid for the set. My son cracked ours when it was only 3 weeks old it doesn't take much force to ruin one.

SOURCE: Sharp Aquos LC-37D44U only shows B&W images from DVD & VHS source

First thing- why not just use the HDMI instead of standard def cables in the first place? Anyway- If the RCA-video (yellow composite cable) is not producing color, 1 of 2 things may be wrong: 1. You accidentally connected the a/v cables [yellow white and red] to [red green and blue] component inputs or vice versa, or.. 2. Your TV or DVD player is somehow set to the wrong video format. Check the DVD settings for video output format and video connector type. Format should be NTSC, and connector should be composite and/or s-video for the cables you're using.
If this is only happening when connecting the DVD player through the VCR, then check to make sure the same cables connecting the DVD player to the the VCR are also connected to the TV from the VCR.
BTW- if this is just to record DVDs to a VCR, I'll tell you it's not worth it. If your DVD player has an HDMI port, your picture quality will be so much better than if you're watching a VCR copy of one. Your new HDTV will look worse than an old standard def TV. Worse; I'm not kidding.
I hope some of this helps.

SOURCE: I have a sharp aquos tv. If i leave the tv paused,

Sharp does not build plasma tv's. Its an LCD and yes older LCD's do get burn-in also. Its not as bad as Plasma, it is a bit of a problem it ruins the LCD panel. If out of warranty when this happens turn off Tv and allow it to cool down a bit, if in warranty have the replaced the panel.

Hope this help

LG 42CS460 THE SCREEN HAS TURNED A RED COLOUR

sounds like a problem with the color circuit in the set, possible fix: Problem is that the connectors for the ribbon cables to the mother board are getting oxidized. All of the ribbon cables have to be removed and the prongs cleaned off. That cures the problem! I tried to do it myself but there were too many screws and panels, so I took it to a local TV tech and told him what to do and he did for $48. He said they all showed various degrees of oxidation but the main one was the worst, so it made sense that it was impacting the color image.

Colour

Under settings or set-up on the remote you should be able to adjust the color of the screen images. If that does not help it may be time for a new TV.

My toshiba 40e210u lcd tv won't show full image on screen

The Aspect ratio of the TV could be on the wrong setting for the image you are trying to view. Widescreen's standard ratio is 16:9 ensure the TV is not set to zoom, 4:3, or pan & scan in the picture menu of your TV.

If the picture looks normal except it's just missing the edges or looks squashed or looks like it is zoomed in from the normal image then aspect ratio is probably the cause.

Hi; your TV has burn screen or traces.it comes from one image left on the screen for too long, it can get burned into the screen, making it visible at all times. You can actually eliminate most screen burns with the use of a PC computer and a black and white screen saver. This trick eliminates screen burn after a period of several minutes because the black and white screens flash quickly, removing all traces of color from the screen. This will eventually eliminate any burned images on the LCD screen. you can do it by creating a DVD picture slide with only black and white image. you can use a computer to make DVD picture slide first go to paint brush and draw only white then save as white.jpg. second burn it into nero or other dvd burner third play it to your DVD player connected to you LCD TV.it has to be played in full screen let the white image display on your HDTV for several hours or even overnight. It should remove any burned-in images or ghosts. hope this help...............

HI There, I have a TCL PDP42U3H, voltages on power board are within specs. Getting full picture but very dim with lots of background noise, colours seem to be like inverted like looking at a negative with...

I was a little confused as the model is a Plasma Screened set and you wrote LCD. Not to worry. In the old days, people were told that the display on plasma screens needed to be "re-gassed", this is nonsense. The gas goes no where and is inert anyway, made up of elements like neon, argon and a few other choice U/V emmiting products.
I would say you have a power supply problem in conjuntion with a video pedastal problem. The plasma screen has a half life of some 17000 hours, which is enough for ones eyes to turn square. Thereafter the same again until the picture dulls dow to a still acceptable level.
The supply voltage is not the critical one it is the bias voltage on the video processing that is all important. Do you remember the old colour TV's with pedastel problems and negative/inverted colours, (ITT CVC9 comes to mind instantly here).
If you have a service manual, check the waveforms around the video processor for inconsistencies, if you haven't it is a workshop repair anyway but without a manual you have no real way of knowing what you are looking for.
Hope that sheds some light on your problem.

Plasma tv problems

Thanks for the photos, it looks like an internal adjustment is required to the ramp generator which controls the sequence for the screen to refresh itself from a previous image to a new image. This is a precise setting & also a software update may be necessary to cure the problem. These settings are on the Y-Sutain board & need to be accurate. If this procedure does not cure the problem then the screen will need replacing. As it will out of warranty, it would be best to contact a local repair centre & ask for an estimate to try & set these adjustments for you.

Maybe this is for your purposes not correctly setup.
Think of : video interlacing, Frame/Filed, NTSC/PAL.

Ofcourse the same thing counts for the Twin Pact !

Question: what type is the Ultrasound Unit ?
