The day after i updated emodio, it (emodio) stopped displaying the portable device. i can still access the device on my computer and add music manually but i cant put anymore video on it as i need emodio to convert it to.
what could be the cuase of this??
K this is how im getting "through" it, unistall emodio then downlaod it again...
when it (emodio) asks you if u want to run the update, cancel it, im guessing it was something in the previous update that screwed us all over but if you skip the update your MP3 should register fine.
Ps: dont worry if you re-install emodio ontop of the one you already have it should keep all your songs registered also, but dont quote me on it.

actually, i just synced the device with windows media player and the device showed up again.

emodio wont show my mp3 player as a portable device even though i can add music manually. Ive tried firmware updates and uninstalling and reinstalling. everytime i try and sync to media player it crashes. I cant even have my mop3 player plugged in when i open emodio because that makes it crash too.
The Same thing is happening to me!!!! I can not sign up on Emodio, or access my portable device through it. I got it 2 days ago, and plugged it into the computer at least 6 times; Emodio recognized it only twice. :( >:( Can ANYONE help?????
I rung samsung customer services for help, seems like they employ monkeys in their call centre as obviously no one new what they were talking about and I went away WITHOUT an answer and am still in the dark on how to put my dvds on my P2
I have the same problem.I just received my P2 from Bestbuy.ca yesterday.And Emodio can't find P2.
I tried to copy the svi file to P2,but it showed up a sign to say P2 can't support svi file.My god!what the hell problem.Samsung set up this svi file and their device don't support this file.
Anyway,I saw the trailers were wav files.and I tried to change the ****.svi to ****.wmv.At this condition,I can copy the files to P2 directly,but when I turned on the player,it showed me "not supported formart".
Having a new video mp3 and not being able to do more than view the trailers already on it.So frustrating!!!
