You will need to change the resolution of the screen on the computer to 800-600 and the bit to 24bits or 16bits, to do this right click on the windows screen, and click properties, goto settings. You should see a slider at the bottem left of the screen to adjust the resolution, and a drop down bar on the other side for the bit rate. This should solve the problem, also you could open the scond screen also in the display properties, and drag what you need to see on the screen to that screen, you will know what i mean when you open screen 2 it just expands the desktop. hope this helps.

If you have no video at all then turn off the laptop. Reseat the memory and then turn the laptop back on with just the AC Adaptor hooked up to see if you get video if not then try reseating the memory into the other slot and try turning it on again to see if you get video. If not then your motherboard may be bad. Just curious though after you turn on the laptop, does the hard drive light keep flickering like its trying to load windows?
