Oh....the fuser is damaged. It would have happened when you corrected the paper jam.
It needs repairs. Go to repair center please.

Most likely, there is a paper jam in the fuser unit....which is stalling the fuser rollers, thus causing grinding noise (accordian or fan folded jam)

if it always jams at the same place (fuser area) try another fuser or check the BLACK PLASTIC ASSY. THAT is mounted in the left door and takes the paper right after it comes out of the fuser ;part is called (PAPER DIVERTER) And sometimes one of the FLAPS That routes the paper is broken,hence causing paper jam.

"Overheat" on this machine occurs when the fuser element has over heated usually caused in jams because the paper BLOCKS the heat sensor.

Probably one of the sensors on the fuser is not working correctly. There are two sensors on the back of the fuser that move when the paper exits the fuser. Remove the back of the printer when the printer says there is a jam and move the sensors to see if the error goes away.
