Paper jammed with no paper canon ir2525

The "paper jam in fuser" error message on a Canon IR2525 copier/printer can occur even when there is no paper physically present in the fuser. This may be caused by a sensor malfunction or a software issue. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the fuser sensor: Make sure that the fuser sensor is properly connected and that it is not damaged or malfunctioning.
  2. Check the software: Make sure that the software is up-to-date and that there are no glitches or errors.
  3. Check the fuser gears: Make sure that the fuser gears are not jammed or damaged.
  4. Check the fuser motor: Make sure that the fuser motor is working properly.
  5. Check the paper tray: Make sure that the paper tray is properly loaded and that there is no paper jam or obstruction in the paper tray.
  6. Consult the manual: Consult the manual for specific troubleshoot and service information for your Canon IR2525 model.

The machine tries to pull paper from tray 1, but then says Paper Jam tray 1. After clearing the paper jam that is NOT there the screen says to replace fuser,

Oh....the fuser is damaged. It would have happened when you corrected the paper jam.
It needs repairs. Go to repair center please.

The screen reads paper jam error, but there is no visible paper jam and when turned on a grinding noise occurs

Most likely, there is a paper jam in the fuser unit....which is stalling the fuser rollers, thus causing grinding noise (accordian or fan folded jam)

Seems to jam in fuser, fuser has been replaced

if it always jams at the same place (fuser area) try another fuser or check the BLACK PLASTIC ASSY. THAT is mounted in the left door and takes the paper right after it comes out of the fuser ;part is called (PAPER DIVERTER) And sometimes one of the FLAPS That routes the paper is broken, hence causing paper jam.

Had a paper jam yesterday and after removing jam screen is staing "over heat" this a a xerox workcentre pro412

"Overheat" on this machine occurs when the fuser element has over heated usually caused in jams because the paper BLOCKS the heat sensor.
Shut off your machine, wait 30 minutes to let cool off or an Hour if you have more time then re-start your copier again, if the Fuser isn't damaged the machine will reset itself. If the Problem presist then you accidentally Damaged the Fuser. If you need one Ihave those available and if your in the Connecticut area you can place a service call and we will be happy to do it.

Paper jam

Probably one of the sensors on the fuser is not working correctly. There are two sensors on the back of the fuser that move when the paper exits the fuser. Remove the back of the printer when the printer says there is a jam and move the sensors to see if the error goes away. If so you may have to replace the fuser unless you can just replace the defective sensor.

Brother 4100e paper jam

Can be tricky people usally damage the fuser rollers removing this jam with pliers/tweezers, it has concertined and stuck after fuser rollers and before exit rollers it will be stuck on the switch best bet is to dismantle properly and remove fuser then dismantle fuser and remove jam, another thing to be concerned about is why did it, three seneraros, Damp paper going threw fuser dries and crincles(use fresh paper from sealed packet), fuser is worn(have fuser replaced), just a bad bit of paper (just have fuser jam removed. Fusrr runs on 240v, covers break easy
