This come from a previous model than I have (mine is a ol5870), but seems to work for this one in retrieving messages from another phone.
Default access code is 0000 if you haven't changed it (but you should); when answering machine answer dial in the 4 digit code while the outgoing message is playing.
Once in dial 1,2, or 3 to play messages (mail box number I believe)
You can dial * for a help menu
4 Repeat a message 44 Ignores a message (message won't remote retrieve next call) 6 plays next message (skip to next) 7 Deletes message 8 Lets you record a memo 9 Let's you change the outgoing message (5 stops the recording) 0 Toggles answer on/off
you just need to take the battery out and wait 30 seconds, replace it
and it should be able to find the base. i had this problem and called
olympia and this is the fix they gave me. It's worked for 4 years!
mine does that also, it is because the forward messages go through so many phones, that it can have a virus. and it just likes to do that, hope this helps?
That's usually a network problem brother, contact your service provider for free customer support. It could also mean that the unit may be having problems with its signal, like your out of coverage area.
