SOURCE: manual fornecchi-alco sewing machine model 301

I have an ALCO 2200. Luckily I have the manual. If some one need the manual, I can photocopy and send it to you, if you do not mind paying the postage. :)

SOURCE: I just replaced the belts on my Necchi 535FA, but

If the belts are not tight enough they will slip, they should all be fairly tight but not like a piano string if you know what I mean.
As you do not describe what the machine is doing wrong I can not really say any more at present, except make sure there is no oil on the belts and the machine has no tight spots when you turn it over by hand.

SOURCE: I have a Necchi sewimg machine that i purchased second hand I would like to have a manual for it. It is possibly model 3101 or 3102. There isn't a model # only states "Heavy Duty"

You should also try www.sewusa.com. I found the manual for a used Necchi 521FB I brought. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: should I oil my Elna 3005 sewing machine?

Many of the new models do not require oiling.

Check the maintenace section of the manual for cleaning the shuttle area. Sometimes lint can build up and cause the machine to get noisy.

If it has been over a year since the machine was serviced, it may be time for a proffesional tune-up.

Where can I get a necchi 519 sewing machine manual or can you tell me where to oil it

Manual in Italian (Google translate helps):
https://manuall.it/necchi-519-macchina-per-cucire/

After the machine has been wiped clean with a rag, apply a drop of good oil to every movable part; to the bearings of the lower shaft (to which the shuttle carrier is attached) and to all other shaft bearings of the machine. The various oil holes in the machine indicate where the oil must be applied.
Sewing machine oil is a white mineral oil, meaning it is clear and has no smell. The oil has a light viscosity and will not collect on the machine's gears.

I cannot lower the presser foot on my necchi 681c sewing machine

Open the light cover
put some sewing machine oil on the long round
thingee, just above the black square
let this set for awhile
then use a chop stick or pencil/pen and push down [gently!!] on the square while pushing the lifter down
if this doesn't help, put a drop or 2 more of oil and let it set awhile longer
or use WD-40 to break it loose and then clean the long round thingee and put sewing machine oil on it

Where do I put the oil on my Necchi Model # U229014?

On the top of machine and top of bed are tiny holes for oil. Use a teflon or sewing machine oil. Tiny drop will do. Some machines need no oil at all.

Where do you oil Necchi sewing machine model 4825?

If it is the newer Necchi computerized machine, oil ONLY where the manual instructs. The only place that may be safe to oil is 1-2 drops on the shuttle/hook:

Do i need to oil my necchi sewing machine? if so how? i have a model 4825.

The following web site indicates the machine should be "lubricated as needed." So, you should probably consult the owner's manual. Your machine is computerized which means there is usually limited oiling required, perhaps the hook.

Be sure to use good quality sewing machine oil recommended for your machine (NOT 3-in-1, WD-40, cooking oil, etc.)

My sewing machine started to sew slow and seem like it is working hard. Won't sew normal. Hasn't been that long since it was last serviced/oiled. Any suggestions?

Slow is due to friction in the shuttle drive and key moving bars and joint. Apply few drops of petrol/kerosene and run for few minutes. Then apply normal lubricating oils meant for machines.

Sewing machine locked up

Sewing machines need to be worked periodically even if you aren't sewing a lot. The oils and greases inside get all gummed up and literally will seize them up. Your best bet is to take it to the pro, pay the $$$ and have them, clean, oil, grease, replace belts, and adjust. OR if you want to give it a try.. DIY... kerosene based cleaner. Clean it well, then oil it properly. Make sure the machine is UNPLUGGED while cleaning.

My old Kenmore sewing machine makes a loud squealing noise.

It sounds as if your machine needs a little oiling. If you have a clear machine oil (not 3 in 1). place a drop in the bobbin case area and if you will notice, you will see small holes on the bed and on the top of the machine. place a drop of oil into each of these holes. If you can take the top and bottom covers off, you can put a drop of oil every where you see a hole..some of the machines actually have the oil holes painted a red color. Also place a drop at the handwheel as well. Just remember when oiling, less is better. After oiling, run for a few minutes, if you feel it still needs a litte more, do the same, one drop at a time. After this, if you machine sets for a while, oil just before starting to sew, that way when you put the machine away the oil has been worked through and it should help prevent the squeaking when starting up again.
