CD PLAYER OVERHEATING -- NOT MOUNTED RIGHT .. I HAVE SEEN THIS PROBLEM MANY TIMES AND WORSE IN SUMMER OR WHEN THE CAR HEATER TURNED ON THAT SENDS HEAT FROM UNDER THE DASHBOARD TO THE CD PLAYER ...... HAVE SOMEONE TAKE THE UNIT OUT OF THE CAR AND POWER IT UP ON A WORK BENCH. IF IT CAN PLAY FOR HOURS THEN THIS IS THE PROBLEM. IF IT ALSO STOPS PLAYING WHEN OUT OF THE CAR THEN THE LASER NEEDS CHANGING ......
To make sure that you hear sound while watching videos, please try the following:
Adjust the volume control on your computer and speakers.
Adjust the volume control located in the lower right corner of the You Tube Video Player.
Ensure that the volume is up on other video players, such as Quick time, Real Player, or Windows Media player, as this might affect
the video player sound.
Try shutting down your computer and then restarting it again.
You may have Real Player installed on your computer. in many instances, sound will no longer play from websites after real player loads. Try removing Real Player and reinstalling Media Player. sound should return if sound works on anything else.
usually this happen when you have slow broadband connection and video is need more speed then your broadband connection speed if you have 512kbps internet speed you do not have to wait this long to watch video on you tube. check your internet connection speed for you tube video.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated. please do rate the solution positively .Thank you for using Fixya
download real player, if everything sounds good with real player, uninstall windows media player and reinstall it. If you keep reinstalling it ontop of itself the issue will not get fixed. Its probably a media codec issue.
uninstall all other audio player other than real one player. Chech the problem still persists. there may be problem IRQ settings in the motherboard. Change sound card to other slot. re-install drivers. real one player software also... thank you !
Start a DVD playing, cover the IR sensor on the DVD player with something opaque.
Try changing the volume, the player should keep playing.
Your TV, surround sound, and DVD player have conflicting IR codes.
The DVD player probably does not use a discreet IC to filter the IR sensor, and the processor in the DVD player is having to look at all the IR codes picked up by the IR sensor.
Go to Walmart or KMart and buy a new DVD player for $29.00 or stop changing the volume while watching DVDs :)
Sorry, there's no real solution that I know of.
Paul.
