Those Rear LCD TVs get bad light engine on some. Causes fuzzy spots size of quarter. Or sharp small bright spots looks like road map or 'stars'. Need new/rebuilt light engine.
optical engine failure. that technology is called DLP digital light processing and it uses a device called a DMD digital micomirror device that has millions of mirrors onthe face and they independtly move and sometimes they can get stuck or not move and cause spots black or white across the entire picture. i suggest calling customer support for possible repair accomodation
Spots in screen is commonly caused by defective LCD on the optical assembly. LCD replacement is very difficult. I suggest to contact the nearest service center at your area.
Since you have a black spot, you need to look at the mirror or inside screen. If it were a certain color, like purple or yellow, for instance, I would suggest a lens or picture tube, but, since it is black in one spot, I would suspect debris in those areas.
