I dropped a jar on the unit and the tempered glass shattered into a spider web. Do I have to replace the entire unit?

Based off what you have described the settings on your Frigidaire range do not light up and you would like to know the location of fuses. There are no fuses within your range, if the control panel is not lighting up it could be a short within your panel and that may need to be replaced. I would recommend having a professional technician out to disassemble your range and replace any electrical components. When that happened on my Thermadore cooktop, the manufacturer replaced it on warranty.

Take off the switch nobs and center grate, then carefuly lift the glass up/ start on one edge first. Have a towel or pillow to rest the glass once off it is around 250$ to replace glass!

A small crack, turns into a big crack, Short of ordering a new piece of glass, there is no "fix" sorry. YOu can continue to use it, but eventually it will run across the cook top, and then shatter the glass... Better be safe than sorry.

the glass top can be replaced.but u want 2 find out the cost of it first.they are pretty expensive and sometimes run almost equal to the cost of new stove.compare it to the cost of a new cooktop.

The cooktop box has a metal flange. Make sure the cooktop when dropped into the countertop is resting on ther metal flange and not the glass edge by itself. If it rests on the glass alone the weight will cause the glass to crack at some point in time.
