SOURCE: USER GUIDE FOR FUJIFILM CAMERA
The manual for your camera is found here:
http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/j/finepix_jz300/
In the right column, you can find a link to the pdf user's guide, below the catalogue. The manual is 100+ pages long, so you should have more than enough information.
SOURCE: Need to activate date/time stamp
In playback mode, press DISP/BACK to select a playback display format. This will turn the Information display on, which will show you the date/time the picture was taken.
This camera does not have a Time/Date Stamp that actually stays on the picture like some cameras do. Instead, the Time/Date Stamp is included in the Image File Properties, and can be viewed or modified from any Windows PC.

Testimonial: "excellent answer. Had I known that the time/date stamp could not be displayed on the picture, I would never have purchased the camera."

The date and time are stored with every image. Any photo editing program should be able to show you that data (and a LOT more); look for something like "image info" or "EXIF data". If you want the data printed with the picture, refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using to print. Depending on the program and the printer, you may be able to display the date and time on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
