I got an RCA lyra 1 gb mp3 player and it was working fine. Then suddenly when I try to turn it on it just flashes the brand name as usual then tells me its's shutting down. OR it just constantly flashes the brand name until i press off or the battery dies. Anyone know what to do?? I tried reseting it a few times but that doesn't work. :(
I had this very same problem. To fix this problem you have to re-flash your RCA MP3 player with the following file: http://download.rca.com/download/RD1022_... My RCA Model RD 1072a as worked fine since flashing the player with this file.
