This router is about 3 years old and never had a problem. al of a sudden today when i get home i have no connection and check my router and all the lights are blinking green non stop. at first in a certain sequence and then they start to blink at same time. have not found any help online so far. ive turned off for minutes and reset, same issue occurs. any hellp appreciated, thanks.

Even though we need more info to resolve the issue, I will make a guess here. My guess is that your D-Link is not configured right, (ie. not pulling the proper info from your ISP's DHCP server.
Try restarting the router and restart or repair your network connection on your pc. Secondly, try to do a "hard reset" on the router, or restore to default. Then reset your connection on the PC. Third, manually set the info on the router.
If you are wireless, you have a whole different issue.

The light blinks when it scans for the wireless devices nearby and as well as for data transfer.

I have had multiple problems with these routers. They tend to drop signals or have other issues that are hard to explain in a few short sentences.
After you rebooted did you open your browser and type in the IP address to connect to the router software?
