Clothes left soaking after a wash. Checked filter - filter ok Removed and checked pump & hoses - pump & hoses seemed ok Watched spin cycle - motor seemed ok Listened to pump on drain cycle - draining seemed ok Scoured the internet for an insight or answer - clueless So what the bloody'ell is it? Any ideas welcomed please!
Ok, replaced waste pump - slight improvement but clothes still bad... only just seen your solution Mike!!! I didn't even notice a spin control board there, I will check/swap it tomorrow as I've only just put everything back in place(incl. kitchen cupboards etc!).
Is this a common problem with this model?? There's a mountain of appliances near where I work and I'm free to take whatever I can find, I'd say some people just buy a new machine without even checking if the filter's blocked looking at some of these appliances!
Thanks all!
SOURCE: washing machine will not drain
You shd check out your pump, refer
to manual. There shd be some block there.
SOURCE: Won't spin after wash cycle or rinse cycle
CHECK THE FOLLOWING---
1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain
hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom
and towards the back of the washing machine).
2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the
water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's
the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven
washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect
time to replace the belt(s) if needed.
SOURCE: My washer won't complete the final spin cycle. It
Hello, problem here is the spin control board is bad. Remove panel under the door and you can locate the spin control at the rear right of the machine screwed to the floor. Replace it and you will be all set. Mike
SOURCE: Not draining
it will be the pump they have a small fan inside them they get weak and with the pressure of the water they stop spinning which doesnt push your the water through the motor fast enough to drain properly replace and you will see the difference
SOURCE: Whirlpool washing machine AWO/D 4305 does not spin
its probably an inbalanced load or its to light.it MUST have a good full mixed load to spin
