Hot point Manufactured by GE MD# HSS25GFPE WW Not Cooling Fridge or Freezer.

Fan/blower runs at bottom rear and is clean, copper tube from black cannister is barely cooler than ambient temperature, fan in freezer runs, but no cooling. Do not feel any air movement in fridge, but don't know if it has a fan/blower. Could refrigerant be lost? or is there another cause of no cooling to both freezer and fridge sides.

Is compressor (black canister)running? It should be very warm if it is. If not, motherboard is most likely bad.

Fridge GE GSS20IEPDCC wall between the freezer and fresh food side getting very warm. Runs all the time.

The wall separating the fridge and freezer section has tubing off the compressor called a mullion heater/ discharge tube heater. It is there to keep that strip slightly warm and prevent sweating during humid times. If it gets overly warm/hot to the touch then either it is due for a cleaning or the condenser fan has stopped. The defrost circuit is not the problem! After pulling the fridge out, remove the back panel and you will see a round condenser on the right hand side. The fan motor is mounted on the side of it. Clean as necessary and make sure the fan is running. Unplug during cleaning and protect your floor before pulling it out

The freezer is not cooling

There must be lot of dirt and dust on the coolant tubes running from compressor in the rear. To solve that...do the following.
Disconnect the refrigerator. Pull it out so you can access the rear bottom end of the fridge where you can go to the black compressor. You will find tiny tubes running on black flat curved sheets. Feel the tubes and clean the entire area with cleaning solution or water with a damp cloth.
After cleaning and drying, connect the electricity and the fridge will work fine.

Ge tfx25jrbb-ww refridgerator not cooling

The first thing to check is if you can hear the fan running inside the freezer. This not only keeps the whole freezer cold it alspo circulates air down to the refrigerator keeping it cool as well.

My Ge profile with freezer on the bottom is not cooling. The fridge is 60 f or 15 C. The coils are clean and frost free. There is some frost on the copper tube that is surrounded by a foam wrap where it...

It is froze up there is no cool air going to the bottom. sometimes one will do that. defrost timer did not work. or the heat coil is bad. unplug it for about 8 hours to let it throw. and see if that will fix it. If it runs ok for about 5 days and dose it again. it is not defrosting.

Kenmore Coldspot side by side fridge/freezer no longer cold.

The black thing is the compressor. It should run warm but not hot. This usually indicates it's time to clean the condenser coils under the refrigerator. Try using a long soft brush and your vacuum cleaner.

Hot to touch

there is another fan at the bottom, rear, of the refigerator. remove the bootom panel and look at the cooling fins to make sure they are not bent into the fan blades. Caefully bend the fins away from the fan. this should improve the cooling of the refrigerator and get rid of the hot spot on the rail between the refrigerator and freezer.
