My bass amplifier houses 3 fuses, 2 glass and 1 ceramic. Haven't found the ceramic fuse T10H250V. where can I find this type of fuse in the city of Chicago?

The 2 glass fuses power up the amp just fine, but the ceramic fuse helps the bass player hear the sounds coming from the speakers. where can I find this particular type of fuse? This amp requires no other fuse!

Any good electric part shop should stock the fuse. I assume the 10H means 10 amps and the last bit 250 volts.

SOURCE: Bose amplifier does not work with a 6 speaker selector

your wall speakers may not be connected.... disconnect each speaker from the selector box and test with a small AAA battery to see if they are connected by putting the battery between each speaker's wires , you will hear it crackle ,then gradually connect each wall speaker onto the speaker connector box . If the first set does not work i suggest there may be a problem with your speaker selector box . Good luck

SOURCE: KENWOOD Power Amplifier

The power amp does need an imput signal ie. tuner, cd , and such to play. You can use the power amp with the other equipment.

SOURCE: NAD C270 amp won't switch from red power/protection to green.

The AH may denote "slo-blo" style as opposed to Fast-acting
A fast-acting fuse will look like a single strand of wire ( maybe wiggly looking) ..A Slo-blo will have an element in it and a spring

If a ceremic fuse keeps getting burned can it be replaced with a glass fuse of the same value.10amps 250V.

Ceramic fuses have better interrupting characteristics under extremely high currents (relative, not break current). Not the case for a rice cooker. Ceramic has advantages in product production, assembly, regulatory as well.
I would not expect glass to make any significant difference.

Replace a fuse on GE Profile model jvm1871SH02

Unplug microwave or shut off house breaker. Remove grill or cover that goes across the top of door and control panel.Remove screw that holds control panel on and lift up on control panel. It will tilt downward and has 2 tabs at the bottom that go into slots. It can be lifted out of those slots. The fuse should be seen at the top area in the microwave behind where the control panel was mounted. Fuse is usually small 1/4 round type fuse like old type car fuses that were glass but the micro fuse will be either a white of gray ceramic fuse not glass. Some are 15 amp some are 20 amp. Usually stamped on end of fuse.

My bass amplifier requires a ceramic fuse T10H250V. Where can I find one exactly like it?

hi,

Fuse breaks when it has succeeded in limiting further damage.

Check for other possible shorted electrical and electronic

components.

• Could be drive transistor , output transistor or both on the main amp.

But check for power supply and in the preamps also.

• Measure supply voltages,

• Check DC offset voltage

• Check idling current (main amp)

Isolate , and trace afterwards.

Hi! I have a Jensen XA2150 Amplifier, from the speaker output I have connected a Subwoofer Sony 10 inch 1100W. Tha'ts gave me a nice bass sound, but now it's death! The amplifier have a 25A fuse,...

Have you checked the fuses inside the amp?Unscrew the cover and with the amp sitting on its back, remove the cover. You have 2-4 fuses, old round type,in there.
