you need a chain whip tool and cassette locking tool, the chain whip wraps around one of the cassette to hold it still, the locking tool fits onto a wrench or ratchet and you insert inside the center of the freehub, so with one hand hold the cassette still and the other hand loosen the lock ring and unscrew, the cassete then comes of the freehub.

Hi...Tape jam inside your Camcorder ...fi you look careful on the side of the door tray look for a little hole it releasemanually the door but carefully remove the tape.. it possible the tape is unroll around the mecanism see if you cant release the pinch roller inside it a little black roiling rubber,it holding the ribbon tape
Dew has condensed in the camera. Eject the cassette but leave the cassette door open.remove the battery . Borrow a hair drier . set it to optimum temperature(not vey hot but but hot enough to cause discomfort when blown on fingers). direct the hot air through the cassette compartment door for about five minutes. reattach the battery and reinsert the tape.
