Sony Bravia LCD TV Model KDL-37xbr6 About 3 days ago i turned tv on and it was normal for about 45mins until it started getting brighter and brighter on its own. turned tv off, turned it on, and it was ok for about 1 min and then the problem started again. turned it off, unplugged it, and left it for a day. turned on, was ok for about 10- 15 mins, then did the same, it is like the brightness is being turned up and up.

Also I have a Sony Bravia and it clicks while it is on as well. I read that forum and some people said to disconnect the cable box for 10 sec. and then some said it was the heat from the summer.. i don't know.. I just turned my tv off and then back on and it stoped. I read this is happening with all kinds of TVs....

This also happened to me and may continue to get worse... If it goes away for a while after warming up, then it is the same problem... The LCD panel is probably going out, when that happens the cost to repair it is more than the tv is worth... If it is in warranty then you can have it replaced or fixed.
