Sorry to say this you have to replace the battery.your battery is same but the level of charge amount it emits to the phone is abnormal so it says
"use a genuine battery".....the level is low or high.....


please rub the q-tip of your battery so some times corrosion may cause it...
the +ions and -ions of the battery is spoiled inside the battery.

When your phone is fully charged it will come up with a message saying remove your phone if you do not push okay on that message your alarms will not go off =]

The only thing I will suggest is to replace the choclate with a new phone. My sister went through 3 of them before switching to another phone. The choclate was a poorly designed phone. Let me know if you need more help.
