Make sure the batteries in your remote are new. Unplug the TV power for about a minute. Plug TV power in. Turn TV on and try remote again. If no luck, make sure no other IR devices are in the room and turn off any lights and try again. If no luck, try a new remote. If no luck. your TV may need to be serviced.
Make sure you've unplugged all external connections to unit. Try unplugging TV from power source for no less than 10 minutes. Plug in again, and see if it comes on by depressing the unit's ON/OFF switch (NOT via remote). If not, then try something in receptacle that you're plugging into. If no power, then check your circuit breaker. If still no power, then may require service.
Try unplugging the the TV from the power outlet for 30 seconds to a minute and plug back in again. Try to turn on again. Some TV's have to be in a "ready mode" to operate by remote - so besure it is in that mode - or use the power button on the TV.
The blinking lights are a service code. You should first try to unplug your TV and leave it unplugged for at least 4 hours... then plug it back in again.
If the blinking light is still there and no picture, time to have the TV serviced. Good luck!
My son put a penny in the SD card slot of my Pansonic flat screen tv. I finally got the penny out but now the volume and tv controls do not work. I can change the channels through my cable box but that is it. The volume does not work on my cable remote or the flatscreen. What do you suggest I do to fix this problem?? Thanks, Josh
I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
have you checked the fuses inside the tv?
