Does anyone know how to fix this? I get F1 error in the start and in the middle of the cycle, have to stand there and push cancel and start button about 15 time before it will finally start the load. Any help would be great. Thanks, Litisha
I have the same f1 problem. I have to press cancel several times to override it.
The F1 error code indicates a primary control failure or pressure signal out of range. Once the pressure hose & air dome have passed testing, the control board will need replaced.

Based off what you have described your Frigidaire range is providing you with an error code of F1 after you started a self-cleaning. The error code "F1" stands for a runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with the F1 error code I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and replacement of any electrical components. Hopefully this information has been helpful. -Matt
Hi Sandra: You have a bad control board, the F1 is the error for the bad board; what you need to do is remove the three screws at the back of the control panel and tilt the panel forward. The main control card is there. Unplug and re-seat all the connectors. Reassemble the unit and try it. If you still get the F1 error code then the controll card is toast.
What happens is these connections come loose. If they arc acrost the contacts then that is what fries the board. Most people that know about this fix are lucky and the unit starts to work right again. Some arnt so lucky.
If you are one of the lucky ones place a healthy dab or two of hot melt glue stick on each connector to hold them from working loose again.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate
your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced .

To remove the error display, press Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel twice.
If Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel does not work: Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute. Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select the cycle and press Start/Pause. NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.
I own a HE3 kenmore elite for 4 years now and the troubleshooting codes are: SUD When excessive suds are detected, a suds routine automatically starts. This causes the cycle to go longer to remove the excess suds. Reduce detergent amounts or use HE detergent.
The F02 error I had with mine and it is a drain problem. Book says check the hose for kinks, clogged or is it more than 96 inches above the floor. On mine it was the fan pump on the forward motor that drains the washer. It was worn and not pushing out the water fast enough. You will hear a high pitched whine at the front bottom of the washer if this is bad.
To reset the washer from the F02 error, select pause/cancel twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or dissconnect power. good luck
