Question about Sylvania LC320SL8 Television
While watching the TV, suddenly, the left half went black. when it turns on, the left side is white. once you turn into an input, it turns black. the menu displays on the left side, so it is not usable.
There are some defects in the board inside and should only be handled by a qualified service technician.

I can rebuild the invertor boards in that model to fix the shutting off problem. The boards themselves are on eternal backorder. Email me at email@example.com for more information.

First you should check the fuse and the wiring in your tv by removing the back cover. Make sure no wires are bare or touching. If there are any, wrap them with electrical tape.
If you cannot see anything wrong by looking, then it is probably the set has a bad transformer (high voltage)

This problems will not be solved by a remote control.Ur tv Tuner board is dead.Take it to the shop they will order a refurbish the Main Tuner signal board for u and replaced it.It will cost about half the price of the new tv.
