Polar F11 not responding

I have had my polar f11 for about 2 years, lost my chest strap and repurchased the chest strap separatley. It worked fine for a while but recently when i put on my chest strap, my heart rate registers as "00" and I have to wait a while before it registeres my heart rate during spin class. It does the same thind when I am on treadmill but soemtimes says 178 or something which I know is not right. Not sure if it a prob witht he cheest strap and monitor or the watch portion of it.

I have the original strap that was sold with the watch but it does not seem to correspond with each other. It gave me my heart rate once of 65 and then never again. I am pregnant and would like to use the heart rate monitor for gym to watch my heart does not exceed 140. I would love some feedback.

I'm having the same problem. I have my original strap but sometimes it reads 0 or 225. I just replaced the battery and it is still doing this.

My Polar F11 is not registering a heart rate on the watch. Heart rate if does work is very low. Everything else on the watch works great.

Does the chest strap need replacing?

I have had a Polar F11 for 1.5 years. Sometimes it says my heart rate is zero, sometimes 205! I have already replaced the battery, what else could it be?

Have used my F11 Polar watch for nearly 2 years. Since last week it is showing my hart rate as 00. Have changed the batteries in the strap and watch. No change. Everything else seems to be working OK.

I' advise to start with battery check. If the battery is ok, then you will need a professional to find the cause of malfunction.

How do you reset cardio track watch

u may have started wearing a Polar F11 Fitness heart rate monitor to help you keep track of your pulse during cardiovascular exercise. The monitor consists of a strap with electrodes that you attach to your chest, which transmit heart rate data to a receiver worn on your wrist like a watch. The wrist unit stores data and settings that you can customize, such as your weight, height and target heart rates. However, you may wish to reset the unit and start over with new settings. You can reset your Polar F11 by following a few easy steps.
Instructions

    • 1 Press any button to activate the Polar F11 Fitness heart monitor unit.
    • 2 Press all buttons on the Polar F11 Fitness heart monitor simultaneously, except the "Light" button. There are five buttons and the "Light" button is at the top left side of the unit. Continue to hold the buttons until the display fills with digits.
    • 3 Press the "OK" button, which is located on the right side of the unit in the middle of the up and down buttons. The Polar F11 Fitness heart monitor will reset.

Changed the battery and now it won't pick up the heart rate monitor. I know the monitor works because it is picked up by all the equipment in the gym.

If Heart Rate is being displayed on the equipment in the gym, but not your watch, then your chest strap is transmitting fine, but the watch is not recieving the signal.

It is not uncommon that when a battery is changed outside of a polar authorized service center that something can happen to the internal electronics. I would suggest you send the watch into Polar and have them take a look. if you have had the watch less than 2 years they will most likely take it under warranty and correct the issue, at the very least they have equipment to test and diagnose both the watch and strap, although it sounds like your HR strap is fine since you are getting HR on the machines.

I have a Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor. The watch won't pick up the heart rate from the sender (00 is displayed), but my heart rate shows on a Polar enabled Gym machine, e.g. xtrainer. I've changed the...

There is a step by step guide in my tips and tricks of things to try with your strap. If none of these work and you are getting a signal from another source then you need to get either a new strap, a new sender or both. If you send the T-31 wearlink into polar they can run a diagnostic and see which is bad and sell you just the piece you need or a whole new chest piece.

How do i reset and work my polar t31? I have lost instructions and it is 2 years since I last used it

There is no reset on the T-31 chest straps and transmitters. If the battery is functioning then you simply put it around your chest (make sure the contacts are wet) and turn on the watch. A heart rate signal should appear automatically.

If this doesn't work, I have solutions in my tips and tricks page as well as Manuals for Polar products. The T-31 battery may also be dead, in which case you will need to replace.

The picture you have showing is for a S-Series Speed sensor for the Bike. If this is something you are having a problem with feel free to send me a note related to the problem.

My Polar HR monitor ce0537 do not pickup Hart rate

Had the same problem. Just figured it out. The center Polar Logo on the strap needs to touch your chest in a firm way. Bend it back slightly so it fits snug on the middle of your chest.
