How do i fix the sound board on a 32" philips

  • Anonymous Aug 15, 2012

if it s, temporarily connect audio out at the back of the TV to an amplifier or your AVR to verify audio is passing through it.

  • Anonymous Aug 15, 2012

If you can hear sound on your amplifier ,
then check for Audio IC AN7522 and surrounding components

Sounds like retrace lines. Leaky caps or worse can cause this.. Are you getting any vertical foldover at the top of the screen?

No picture

if you don't have experience on electronic troubleshooting then i doubt that you could fix it.
although it could be simple as to a blown fuse, there are other diagnosis to be done.
i suggest you bring it to a reliable service center/person, have it diagnosed and repaired, if you wish not to mess with it and make greater damage to your tv.

Geometry settings all wrong

I wish I could help you but you will more than likely have to take your set to an authorized service center. Philips doesn't like to send service manuals to anyone except their service centers. Stargazer
