I forgot my password for Samsung t749 Highlight

There are few different unlock passwords for T749.

If you getting "Phone Lock" password prompt you need to reset Phone Lock. This can be done by flashing your phone with any firmware. You will need MultiLoader software and firmware files and a USB cable.

If you are getting "NetworkLock" or "Phone Freeze" you need to unfreeze and unlock code. This can be done by via USB cable but there is no free solution to make it. You can get software and instructions to read unlock/unfreeeze code at related links

Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight Unlocking Instructions Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight mobile phones. Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.

CODE: Its the unique Unlock Code for your Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight.

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight.

You can get a free unlock code for your phone by downloading unlocking software or calling your phone carrier's support. Either way you will need your Samsung Highlight T749?s IMEI number. You can get this IMEI number by typing *#06#.Once you have your Samsung Highlight's unlock code, you can begin the unlocking process.
Unlock Samsung Highlight T7491. Power up your Samsung T749 with your unaccepted SIM card in.
2. Now, if your phone prompts for an unlock code, go ahead an enter it. However if no prompt is displayed, then type: #7465625*638*CODE#. Where CODE = your 8-digit unlock code.
3. Phone will say "Network Unlocked" and may automatically reboot.
Now you can use your Samsung Hightlight T749 on any phone network. Enjoy!

Well I'm happy I can help you.The same problem happened to me and my Samsung Highlight T-749.First, I called Customer Care and they tell you to type in some passwords.If,the passwords they tell you to type in don't work,then they will give you the option of buying a new sim card.The sim cards usually cost about 20 bucks but don't worry because you can back-up the data in your old sim card to your new one.Hope this helped you!

Unfortunely you can't due to the secruity on the phone,but you can call Customer Care and they will ask you to type in some passwords and if they don't work, then you have to buy a new sim card from T-Mobile.They normally cost about 20 bucks from a T-Mobile store.You can also back-up your old information and put it on you new sim card.How this helped your problem!

i forgot my password to my samsung highlight what can i do to get around it

easiest way is to open up your dialer and type the following code: *2767*3855#
If you get the unlock password screen at boot up, try hitting the SOS in the bottom left, if it brings up the dial screen then type it in. It will reset the phone to factory settings and reset the password to 0000. You can then confirm this worked by going into menu/settings/reset settings/master reset. Then type in 0000 when prompted and again to verify. If your phone resets again then you know your password has been reset to factory default.
