Sometimes due to virus attach or some unwanted files memory card shows such type of errors even there is memory space in it. IN this case just format your memory card with the help of a computer device. After formatting your memory card will not show such type of errors again.
Hi there, For few reason camera showing memory card error.
1. Memory card damaged.
2. your memory card finished is life time storage memory.
3 . virus infected.
4. If your memory card storage capacity more than camera support card then its also show to you. For example your camera support maximum 2 GB card, but your try to use more than 2 GB memory card.
I suggest your remove the memory card and scan by updated antivirus. After that, if not working then fomat it and try.
Thanks & waiting for your feedback.
Format error display shows memory card is unstable and need to be format through format option in Camera menu. Format memory card, if that does not fix the issue, try another memory card in camera and check this memory card in another camera just to make sure either camera got problem or memory card is bad.
Take out memory card from camera, turn it On and check does it show format error? If yes, press Home, Memory option and format internal memory. If camera does not show format error then put back memory card in and press Home, Memory card option and format it. This will delete all files/ data and will refresh memory card, take some pictures and check. If after formatting, still format error exist, put new memory card.
Check the slot and see if the pins inside are fine, no breakages, free from dust etc. Try turning the camera on and off (completely remove batteries etc).
Do not ever format a card.,any card via a computer
That does it in. For camera use it will not be recognised.
Put the card in the card reader and if there is anything at all on it delete it.
Try to reformat in the camera again- failing that -new card.
