Must disassemble the pump from the motor. The impeller has RH threads so hold motor armature (do not damage it) and turn impeller CCW to remove it from end of shaft. Hold armature in left hand and rotate impeller with right hand, turning hand on impeller back toward your body, or top of impeller toward you. Don't know how else to describe it. Once you have the impeller off everything should come apart pretty easily.
If impeller is really stuck, you will need to figure out how to hold it evenly all the way around without putting pressure on blades. Strap wrench, home made jig, something that can put more pressure on it than your hand.
You may want to remove the motor field so that you can grasp the armature while removing the impeller, do this by removing the long screws from the end of the motor.

Gently pry, tap, slide, however you can, get the bearings off the armature shaft without damaging any parts attached to it like fans, or starter centrifugal weights. Those things can be removed if needed.

Put new bearings on by sliding over shaft and seating in place by driving against the center race only. Do not drive bearing on by striking the outer race to move the inner race, this will damage the bearing.

1999. Replaced water pump and now my car idles between 0 and 1 and wont stay idled it dies out

A replaced water pump will not cause this problem unless the bearing has failed and the pump is putting an excessive drag on the crankshaft. A more common problem is that a sensor was removed or a sensor connector was disconnected to install it and was damaged, or not reinstalled or reconnected properly.

Nissan navarra yd25 engine, oil light vomes on when idling.my oil pump is new .

If the oil pump is new, then confirm the oil pressure sensor is accurate by slapping a mechanical gauge in place of the sesnor. If the pressure still reads low on the mechanical gauge, then you have severe bearing wear requiriing a rebuild.

How do I replace bearings in a swimmingpool pump motor

If you have a 1 hp motor or more they have 2 bearings, one at each end. It's better to do this on a work bench if possible. Disconnect electric from motor or electric box. If pump is bolted in two haves disconnect from the front have. That will leave you with the motor connected to have of the pump and the impeller. The impeller is threaded on and comes off clockwise. There might be a slot in the motor shaft at the back to put a screw driver in to hold it. After the impeller is removed there is a 2 piece seal that should be replaced when the pump is off. Remove the 4 long bolts from the back side of the motor to remove the pump and now the motor can be separated to remove the bearings. A bearing puller is needed for that then install new bearings using a pipe and hammer plastic is better. Hammer bearing on using a pipe that justs fits over the shaft. don't hammer bearing on it's edge. If you can clean the contact points in the back of the motor with some supper fine sand paper. Then reassemble . PS Some hardware stores might carry these bearings for about $12

Help! Just opened my pool and the pump/motor (which is only 2 years old) is very noisy. Sounds like it could be the bearings. Do call someone to the house, disconnect and take to a repair shop, ord

Disassemble the pump to the point where you can see the whole impeller. Then turn the power back on to verify that it is the bearings, and not trapped debris causing the noise. If it is the bearings the short answer is to replace the motor.

Bearing failure is usually related to a leak at the pump seal. This results from either a faulty seal installation, or the pump running excessively hot (from running w/o water).

When replacing the motor carefully examine the seal plate (where the seal is set) front and back for any cracks or deformity. If the new seal doesn't set exactly, it will leak.

Water Pump leaks from the front end of the Wagon.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
  1. Determine the Reason for Water Pump Failure
    • 1 Repair a water pump by checking your car for a failure in the bearings. You can test for bearing failure by seeing if there is any play in the shaft that is connected to the electrical fan blades, as well as the drive pulley to the pump itself.
    • 2 If you notice any free play in the shaft or the pulley, you will need to take the pump apart and replace the bearings.

    • 3 Determine if the water pump failure is due to a leak in the casing. Examine the water pump housing for leaking or water stains in the drainage hole next to the pulley.
    • 4 If water is dripping from this hole, then the seals inside the pump need to replaced in order to repair the pump.
Remove the Water Pump for Repair
    • 5 Allow the engine to cool completely before removing any part of the cooling system. Never open a radiator cap or plug while the engine is still warm.
    • 6 Disconnect the car battery. This will prevent the electrical fan from turning on while you are under the hood.
    • 7 Drain the radiator of all fluid and disconnect the radiator hoses. Collect the fluid with a plastic container and keep it in a safe place until you are ready to put it back into the radiator.
    • 8 Remove the fan assembly. This will include the shroud, the fan and the fan belt. Disconnect the electrical leads for the fan.
    • 9 Remove the pulley for the fan belt as well in order to have access to the water pump.
    • 10 Use a socket set to remove the water pump from its engine mount.
    • 11 Open the housing for the water pump and replace the seals or bearing as necessary. Some auto parts stores carry repair kits that have both the seals and bearings for specific types of water pumps.
    • 12 Reassemble the cooling system by replacing the water pump, pulley, fan belt, fan assembly and radiator hoses. Refill the radiator with the fluid.
    • 13 Start the engine to see if the water pump repair was successful. Check for leaks before you take the car out on the road.

My nissan navara keeps loosing power while iam driving if i come off d accelarater and mash again d power comes back den it happen again and again

sounds like the bearings in your fuel pump are going. These bearing are undoubtedly not replaceable without replacing the entire fuel pump.

Fix: replace fuel pump.
Difficulty of fix: moderately advanced. You have to jack up car, drain the tank at the fuel tank drain
and then disconnect fuel lines (3), unbolt the (always rusty) bolts holding the tank, then go at the fuel pump replacement procedure, remembering to replace the fuel pump gasket.

If your car has a hatch in the top of the tank for fuel pump replacement (Hondas do), then use that access to get to the part - otherwise pull the gas tank and replace it that way, While you're in there, replace fuel filter(s) and strainer too (as a matter of course).

If the problem were clogged fuel filter, you'd experience loss of power going uphill, and it would not be able to made to "come back" by mashing on the gas pedal.

Water pump

This IS EXACT Procedure Bu The BOOK
REMOVAL
  1. Drain cooling system.
  2. Loosen fan clutch attaching bolts.
  3. Remove fan shroud attaching bolts and remove shroud and fan.
  4. Remove drive belt.
  5. Disconnect lower radiator hose, heater hose and bypass hose from water pump.
  6. Remove fan, spacer, water pump pulley and fan shroud.
  7. Remove A/C compressor/power steering pump bracket and accessories to clear water pump stud bolt.
  8. Remove water pump attaching bolts and the water pump.
INSTALLATION
  1. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten water pump retaining bolts to 12-18 ft. lbs.
NOTE: All water pumps have a sealed bearing integral with the water pump shaft. The bearing requires no lubrication. A bleed hole in the pump housing allows water that may leak past the seal to be thrown out by the slinger. This is not a lubrication hole. If the pump is damaged and requires repair, replace it with a new pump or a rebuilt one.
