I have no basement. Are you kidding me that I'd have to break something to unclog a drain? Do you know this tub and how to get into the drain?

Is this in the basement and if yes then you have a brake in the pipe some where because you say that your snake is stopped by cement.

The tub is clogged with hair

Few plumbing issues such as Dripping faucets. Running toilets. Leaky valves. Clogged bathtubs can be solved by our own trying few things.
1)Firstly lookout for what is causing blockage such as soap or hair inside the pipeline blocking water just pull it out from pipes.
2)Secondly use a plunger(Tool used by plumber to clear clog) pour some water in bathtub to cover the plunger block the overflow of water with rag.Place the plunger over drain pull up & down 5 to 6 times.
3)Lastly if still the clog is not cleared try out with snake a long flexible steel cable wound on a handle In a sink you just feed the snake down the drain, but on a bathtub you need to feed the snake down through the overflow plate opening. Start by feeding about 3 feet of the snake into the opening, turning it as you push it forward. You will feel some resistance as you work the snake through the trap under the drain, and the turning helps to move the head through the trap. The snake should either break up the clog by pushing its way through it, or your turning will hook the end of the snake onto the clog and you can pull it out.

After trying with above if still there is plumbing issue call sewer line repair services for help.

Americast Princeton Bathtub clogged

It'll take a very small, flexible snake to get around two abrupt 90-degree corners.

I have an american standard tub and it constantly clogs. I used drane-o and it worked for a little bit but I think its the drain in the tub. How Can I tell if thats the problem?

Take screws out of plate on tub over flow and pull up trip lever. sometimes they move and need adjusting . It shoul dhave 2 bolts holding the plate on tub at overflow and work with it to remove trip lever assembly once out run some water down drain to let you know if that is th eproblem then you can adjust on trip lever assembly by moving the little barrel like plug near the handle a little will increase water flow out of tub once you put it back in you can adjust it out it back in with out bolting back turn water on and move lever to see if it drains any better.

They can be tricky but you can do it.

Slow drain in the bathtub, cannot use a snake because the drain hole has an old metal piece that is divided into 3 spaces.

Be best to use a chemical drain unblocker, Mr Muscle or similar. Possible Caustic Soda. Usually all the hair and grime clog up, chemical unblockers usually do a good job of removing this.

Water collected in the tray under the air handler. The float turned unit off. Drained water and AC returned. What caused the water to collect in the catch tray. Is there a clog in the drain pipe?

Yes there is a clog in the drain, you can try a cloth hanger or a small drain auger, slug builds up and clog the drain it only takes a little to clog the flow and can easily be unclogged

DRAIN

I take it that you removed the drain trip linkage and stopper through the vent hole .
You must now run a small hand or small power snake the less than eight feet to open the drain.
You can also plug up the vent, tightly and  try a flat plunger on the tub drain .

I need a manual of instructions for instalation of this product .

You will need plumbers putty and a plumber's drain tool. Put a ring of putty around the piece that will be on the inside of the tub to seal it. Then insert it through the hole making sure the rubber gasket is on the bottom side of the tub and tighten it down.
