the washer drum is leaking from the seam and from the front when draining/spinning. What needs to be done to keep it from damaging my floor?

i have the leaky door too. I don't think it is the boot- I think it's the door mechanism that isn't holding the door tightly shut. Probably cuz I crammed a large load in recently... grrr.... ANyone know how to get to the mechanism?

Carefully look at the door gasket to see if any irregularity in seal. Could be problem with door seal; or you could easily change door mechanism thru a spare part shop quoting your model and spare-part No or "door mechanism"

My Haier Dishwasher HDW100WHT is pumping water over the floor .The door is firmly closed. Any Suggestions please?

OK. When you see water on the floor, and you open the door, is there any water rising in the wash chamber and breaching the seal? If you open the door and do not see any water other than the water dripping off the dishes or whatever, I would suspect there's a leak underneath. If you see water standing in there, they you will want to clean the food/debris trap. Refer to your manual, if you have one. If the food trap is cleared and the water is still comin out, I would suspect a leak underneath the unit, possibly a loose water hose or drain hose.

My 4 yr old Whirlpool Duet front load washer is leaking water onto the floor from the bottom of the machine. It seems to be coming from underneath or back, it is not coming through the door. It's not...

The most frequent place for a front-loader to leak is on the door connector boot. The boot connects the drum to the door. You can often remove it and replace it upside down and that will give you a few more months' use.

My whirlpool amw8121 front loader won't spin. It

There should be a door-actuated limit switch which detects that the door is closed, which is probably defective. Look for the plunger, listen for the click. It is the most likely component to fail, and is inexpensive to replace if you're handy. Be sure to have your machine unplugged during repairs.

Kenmore front load washer door won't latch lock light on

On some Kenmore front load models, if the black gasket around the door opening is unseated (for example, because you drag some heavy wet laundry over it) the door will not engage the lock and stay closed. This is a feature to prevent the washer from leaking when the gasket is not sealed. To fix it, simply reseat the gasket and the door will close and lock.

How do you change the front door seal on a LG 7kg front loader washing machine

Well I have the manual. If you want it.If the problem is water leaking out the door LG recommends you shim the door latch with washers. This would make the door close tighter and eliminate leaks. See page 36

My LG front loader is washer leaking water.

Could be the bladder from the drum to the door of the door seal. It could also be the drain pump hose.

Leaking

check the rubber connector around the inside of the door sometimes it gets "wrinkled" and keeps the door from closing correctly. also if it is leaking from around the door you may have a bad gasket if you are careful and patient you may be able to fix this with silicon sealer, squirt some inside the gasket where its messed up and mold or shape the silicone while its still "wet" to fit. Otherwise get a new one from www.danby.com

Maytag refrigerator

It may not be a water problem, it may be an air leak.
If there is something that is keeping the door from total closing, ice will build up from moisture.
check the gasket around the freezer door, or see if there is something that is keeping it from closeing completely.
