I have a RCA 60in. rear projection tv. Model # p60920BL and I turned it off one night, went to turn it on the next day and nothing...it sounds like it is coming on but nothing. HELP

My RCA P60920BL made a loud pop and turned off and will not turn on anymore. A continuous chirping/beeping sound comes from back of tv by the main panel. Fuse checked ok. Help!!! I have this particular set myself and a similar problem occured.
I replaced Q14101in the power supply and 5amp fuse.
Also replaced Q14101, horizontal output transistor after I tried to isolate a short on the convergence power supply load. Removing the yoke connectors did this, be carful in your troubleshooting. Also the Sanyo STK730-130 IC switching voltage regulator can cause all these problems to start with by failing, it runs off the main power supply. I think I spent less then $50 to repair the thing myself.
First tap the set to see if it comes on, if it does not then your power supply circuit needs to be resolder take it to a tech to do that for you, if you are not a tech.if it does not then you are having a serious problem that is to say the following could be defective regulator in the power supply microchip in the standby power supply.high voltage protection circuit.flyback transformer,and all associated components for the above.good luck.

Look to see if for a tiny fraction of second the power light tries to come on----also from memory I do not know every set---is there a label on the rear with a "chassis" number like PTK169 etc?
does the front led flash. if it doesnt then you may have a primary power problem.. the fuse may have blowed,., this ussally means other componets have shorted IF the led flashes then you have a processor shutdown
Mine just did the same thing on the same day, same tv. we bought ours from Walmart exactly one year ago and after spending time on internet, i have found that alot of us with the same tv have had same problem with no avail from RCA company or walmart. i can't get help from anyone and am ready to scream. Good luck. Others have told me that they have had repair man out and said that it was a malfunction is some type board that he has seen over and over in this tv and he advised to just buy another tv because it was too costly and the problems were going to keep coming with this specific model
