Washing machine error code E05 usually refers to the hot water temperature sensor at the back of the tub, it's not sensing a temperature change. It's not an error that can easily fixed by the user, so it is not listed in the manual. It could be the sensor itself, the heater, the controller or the wiring. Call for repair.

Check for clogged exhaust vent.

Thank you. I ran a 2 and 3 wash (60 and 40 degree wash). It allowed me to put it onto a rinse/spin/cycle but it didn't allow the wash.

Try adjusting the machine feet. one or more of them will have a lockable adjustment. Get the weight evenly distributed on the floor.

remove the two wires from pump connect two wires with a test bulb. this would eliminate the control issue if the bulb lights. 240 volt bulb. take it from there

This happened to us before and we had to actually reset the unit. I had to call the tech support and they walked me through the process.
