Whistle in computer

There is a whistle inside the computer that happens everytime that i turn it on. it tells me that it unexpectedly shuts down to protect my computer. i hit enter and it continues.. tries showing me a message, but my screen gets covered in all sorts of colorful lines so i can't see what the message says and then it shuts down again. I have only had this computer for 20 some days.

SOURCE: PC crashes repeatedly, sometimes comes back on, screen says this!

this problem is cause by some hardware components. just make sure all of your hardware components are fixed correctly with mainboard. or else, if you installed any new hardware options to your computer, just remove that & try to start the computer.
if you still have that problem, just let me know!!

SOURCE: computer screen blank

Your operating systems is using a resolution out of your monitors capable range. Hit f8 during boot and select VGA mode. Once in change the resolution.
OR
Your operating system is using a different output. Once in VGA mode check the display properties and make sure your primary display is your monitor No. 1. To get into display properties right click your desktop and go to properties.

SOURCE: When my computer sits for

Sounds like a heating issue. Look inside and check that the chassis , video and processor fans are working. You may have to clean the fans.

CHECK THE FANS! The biggest enemy to your laptop is HEAT! You just replaced the display it's very possible you inadvertently disconnected the cooling fan. Clean it while you have it apart dirt and dust prevent proper cooling

My HP DC 5800 PC, Shut down unexpectedly. It is not happen regulerly. Some times it happen twice a day and some times it happen once a month. My operating system is Vista business.

Most unexpected shut downs like this are caused by over heating. Is the computer in a closed in space? If so try moving it to where it has plenty of room to breath. If this does not help I would suggest trying to replace the current fans to be sure that they are in working order.

OK, I would try to restore to the earliest date possible, or Recover to original state of computer from factory. The latter is more radical than the former, but it will guarantee that any corrupt files are eliminated.

Good question.

Does the computer feel hot when it shuts off?

Does it always happen at the same exact time?

Can you try booting the computer into Safe Mode? (What Happens?)

First thing I'd try is uninstalling the video adapter driver under device manager and restart the computer.

Let me know what happens!

My hp computer restarts unexpectedly

Does it occur when switching to or from a specific user? If so the profile is bad.

If it happens on all users try running a repair on the operating system.

Computer shuts off automatically everytime

Usually this happens because of overheating your best bet would be to take it apart and see if there is a fan problem. Most likely need to replace a fan inside/upgrade as it may not be working properly. Also make sure your bents are all clean of dust and debris. Use computer air to clean it out.
Thank you,
