NO SOUND
Sansui RZ-2605 A/V Receiver no sound
• Check to see if the sound on the stereo receiver has been muted.
• If the stereo receiver has a headphone jack, make sure
no headphones are connected.
• Try a different audio setting on the stereo receiver.
• Check the speaker wires to make sure they are
connected securely to the stereo receiver.
• Try connecting different speakers to the stereo receiver
If these have already been done,
Symptoms still persist, service may be required.

Hi curtmalm
First, do a rest on the unit by disconnecting from the wall overnight. Then fire it up again to see if it recovers. Let me know here how you go.

i have the same problem but my receiver doesn't change sources and its blocked on the last station llistened. the problem appeared when i washed the face of the receiver with a special spray. i think that i have done something very wrong like a short cut in the command processor. any help, please?

If I remember this model correctly, there is only 1 direct input. The remainder of the inputs are bufferred through a switching IC. It is likely that this IC is defective. Are there any other symptoms at all?

I need a card with SMD ICs located on the circuit board of my sansui RZ6800 AV Reciever.(its a digital card with function IC and many more SMD components)

Remove the fuse cover with a flat screwdriver, then pull the surrounding circular black plastic piec straight out and reorient it to show the desired voltage, then plug it in, insert the fuse and cap.
