I need a network driver for Windows 7 Professional and the information I got when installing the program was that I was missing pci\ven_10b7&dev_9201&subsys_12B8103c&rev_40\4&3939cdf2&0&0860 This only says it will work with Windows XP. Any ideas? Jack

Hi Laaurie - First off, I've included a link for the driver/software for WinXP for your machine. You can just put them in a folder that you know where they are or you can just run them from the disk. I'd keep a copy on the disk and label it so you have it and then put in a folder somewhere maybe labeled HP. When you click on the link, and then click on the software/driver, be sure to read the instructions. There is a button you click on that download and install later. Read the directions, or print them out and then do your download. If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If you need more help just add a comment and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks.

I found three different network drivers from HP - which one do you need?
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3352968&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=3352967&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1093
Long URL (alternatively go to HP and search for your computer)
The drivers are for Intel NIC, Belkin Wireless NIC, or Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit so your hardware specs will matter.
I hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have a HP m1160n, I installed windows 7 an II
Hi there
Sorry to hear you have a problem. Did you install windows 7 as an upgrade? If so, did you run the upgrade advisor before you upgraded? If you installed it as a new clean Operating System, did you check to see if your HP m1160n has drivers that will work with windows 7?
I just went to the HP website to check for your drivers but it does not recognise the model you state
M1160N.
Go here
http://welcome.hp.com/country/uk/en/support.html
and put in all the numbers of all the stickers on the case or that look like HP. These maybe serial number, part number, model number, spares number until you get a match for M1160N.
Then check to see if your drivers are available for Windows 7. If they are not you will need to install seperate new audio, network and TV tuner cards that er compatible with Windows 7.
All the best, Phil
