Controls locked The controls are locked. I dont know why but obviously i cant set the machine off. How do i unlock the controls? I have tried the old switch it off and then back on again but the controls locked light just comes straight back on.

Your whirlpool duet washer needs a reset to resolve the control lock problem. Press and hold the END OF CYCLE button for 15 seconds to unlock the control. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Hi.

If the front light lit is control locked, that means that your Whirlpool electric dryer had been set in control lock mode.

Control lock is a special mode that will prevent user from changing settings or using control until the dryer gets unlocked again.

The machine is set to control lock mode by holding down the CONTROL LOCK/UNLOCK button for several seconds. In the same way you can stop the control lock mode when the machine is already set to Control Lock.

When the dryer is running and Control Locked is on, the dryer can still be stopped by pressing the Pause/Cancel button, but cannot be restarted until the control is unlocked.

If the front light lit is control locked but the dryer door opens and it does not turn off, then you are probably in this situation. In that case, the door will be opening , but the machine still stays locked.

Disconnecting the machine from power, either unplugging power cord or tripping circuit breaker, won't help. The control lock system is designed to stay on in case of power failure.
If the machine is control locked, try unlocking it with the following procedure.

To unlock: Press and hold the CONTROL LOCK/UNLOCK button for 3 to 5 seconds to turn the control lock feature off.

If that does not work, try disconnecting power for five minutes to reset the machine, and eventually do unlock again. As said, cutting power alone will not cause the machine to unlock.

If the machine is still not responding, the lights stay on all the time, the dryer panel does not respond to control unlock procedure, and the door does not lock anymore, then it may be a defective control board.

If you are in this situation, before replacing the control board more parts, including the door lock must be tested. In that case the best option may be contacting the Whirlpool support number listed on the Dryer use and care manual, usually in the last pages.

In this case try resetting control lock as explained above, as told the dryer is more likely control locked and then stopped.

My phones locked and i dont know the code to get in. i cant look at my messages. i tired the obvious but it wont unlock is there anyway to reset it. or something.

Try master reset codes for your phone , by the way you can reset the security code and change new before that you need to specify your phone model , visit here http://www.superunlockcodes.com/unlocking-services/rs12wp6/ for nokia reset codes

I have a Neptune AG , The power will come on but I cant change settings or start washer. The child lock light is on but I dont know if it has always been on or how to shut it off. What's the problem?

ON THE PANEL, LOOK FOR A PICTURE OF A LOCK OR PADLOCK. IT SHOULD HAVE TWO LINES GOING TO TWO BUTTONS. PRESS AND HOLD FOR 3 SECONDS, THIS SHOULD UNLOCK YOUR CONTROLS

I found my old nokia 6070,when i turned it on, keypad is locked, when unlocked, it need security code. this is probably due to the keyguard have been set.and, i forgot my security code. i tried the master...

my mother have this nokia 6070 cellphone. i dont know what happened but when she tries to call it always says 'the subscriber you're calling may be reached through text messaging'. and from the display there's a number 2 on the upper left. i tried to change the setting from line 2 to line 1 or to other settings, like general setting, but it's still the same. i tried to turn it off and remove the battery and sim card, but still it doesn't accept the call feature..please help..

Unplug the washer, and leave unplugged for about 5-minutes. Re-plug and check. Hopefully this resets the controls.

thanks my daughter solved the problem to unlock parental lock or parental pin number she tried four zero digets 0000 no success then she put in four numbers one 1111 and it unlocked the parental lock .hope it can maybe help someone - margaret

My son was playing with my husbands old ipod and somehow managed to set up a lock code on it now we cant unlock it because we dont know what numbers he pushed is there anything we can do to take the lock...

you can hook it up to itunes and restore the ipod.
thats the only way to remove the lock

The only button that will respond is

with controls unlocked, you can not power on or start? ck to see if you can get to diagnostic mode.
old duet(red leds) -select drain/spin cycle, no spin (modifier), press prewash 4 times in 5 secs. all lights come on then displays codes, f code are faults
new duet/sports(green leds) - press and hold any one modifier button 4 sec on 4 sec off 4 times.
control boards are common on whirlpool.

The Control Lock prevents unintended use of the washer. You can also use the control lock feature to prevent unintended cycle or option changes during a cycle. When CONTROL LOCKED is lit, all buttons are disabled except for Pause/Cancel and Start. You can lock the controls while the washer is operating. To lock the controls: Select and hold DRAIN & SPIN for 3 seconds. The CONTROL LOCKED status light glows. To unlock the controls: Select and hold DRAIN & SPIN for 3 seconds or until the CONTROL LOCKED Status light turns off.
