Leviton 6793 does not work on LED lamps? - Electrical Supplies

If it is the falling edge type of dimmer and the lamps you wish to use are dimmable, yes.

Specs say Dimmable LED lights are fine, so that means your lights are the ones at fault. Although marked dimmable, they are aren't. Swap the bulbs out for another make. Also if you read the FAQ on the lower section of the page, there are secret switches hidden behind the slider. Also interesting to me is that on the top metal fixing plate it shows
LIGHTED OPTION
ON - OFF

6633-pl is single-pole and 3-way dimmer made for max 600 watt incandescent or halogen load. This dimmer does not work for CFL or inductive loads such as motor.

I have no idea what a 'locator light' is?? Do you mean the LED indicator that shows when power is connected?

Troubleshoot section of manual does not show any solution for LED malfunction.

It's not quite that simple..

According to the manual for your switch, it is stated "Use with magnetic low-voltage transformers, incandescent, or 120V halogen fixtures only." Also, there is a minimum load of 40W or 40VA. Your LED lamp load will need to satisfy BOTH of these requirements. Electronic circuits are not to be "dimmed" with this dimmer - but use of either the VZE04-1L (400W max) or VZE06-1L (600W max) is supported.

You will need to provide the manufacturer and model number of the LED lamp(s) to be dimmed by this switch. Or, you can use traditional dimmers (if desired) with LED lamps that are specifically labeled as "dimmable" on their packaging.

Once the lamp model is known it will be possible to learn about their dimability assuming that they are not cheap imports with no real customer support contacts. Name brand lamps will have this support, and you can even call them yourself and inquire directly about the suitability to task for the dimmer. here is a link to leviton u should b able to get the information u need from here as it is just a bit complicated to write it all out here. these are pdf documents and i hope they help u, cause by the time i try to explain all this it will get confusining. u should find more than just the standard docs that com with the switches.

Hi,
No you are getting a backfeed from somewhere else...either the neutral is no connected properly or you have a bad ground...

It has nothing to do with the amp. rating of the switch..

I think the matching remote totally matches down to the LED display of light level. Coordinating remote does not have the LEDs.

The white line should go to the white screw.
The black hot line should go to the brass (gold) screw.

The Leviton page for Leviton 5613 does not have a troubleshoot.
Manual shows simple wiring diagram.
3-way switches will not operate lights if switches are wired incorrectly.
Check your ground wire is connected.
Leviton 5613 series is illuminated.
Check that both switches have 5613 number.
Swap switches and see if problem is inside switch.

I Have a decora 24 hour lcd programmable timer switch 6124, when i set the timer it doesn't go on, but it goes one a 5:00 am. when there is nothing programed?

Apparently i need to set the time first and then program timer?

Can you please help. Thanks so much.
